  2. The coupons am sure to use on this Sunday's paper are for Wisk and Quaker Oats. Am confused if I should buy (5) papers or just buy (5) of each coupon online instead which will cost me $2 only for everything including fees?!? Fellow couponers, what do you think? :I ...Thanks a lot in advance.

  3. Hi All,

Hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year.

coupon.girl--I would check around at a couple clipping sites to see what your cost would be for the coupons you need compared to the cost of buying the papers. Also, if you have become a member of HCW, you could post an ISO for those coupons or post it here =) I am sure one of Miss Jeri's readers might have extra =)

  4. Hi Liz - $1 for laundry detergent is a great price.

Coupon.girl - I'm going to try to use more of my RR and ECBs on papers this year. My son is working on getting a page together for coupon trades on my blog. Hopefully it will be up today.

  5. I got a 4 off 20 on my email so that makes the Wisk even cheaper. I just hope they don't run out.

  6. Sometimes I like when they run out because then I can get a raincheck :) That is as long as the coupon isn't expiring soon!

  7. Hi Rachel - I love rainchecks too. Let CVS store my stockplie for awhile. I don't even care if the coupon expires, there will be another coupon someday.

  8. Yeah.. I got te Wisk and tons of other stuff to. The Revlon deal was a great money maker and already stocking up on stocking stuffers for next year.

  9. Hi Lynda - What Revlon products did you find and what were their prices? I'm trying to figure out how close the store pirces are to the online prices.

  10. If anyone here gets quarterly ECBs for their prescriptions, do you just scan your card when you purchase them or did you have to sign up for CVS Prescription Management program online? I filled 2 prescriptions last quarter but didnt earn the $1 ECB, I guess because I didnt do it right - I cant remember if I scanned my card when I paid for them. I cant seem to get an answer on this from CVS.

  11. Hi CJ - I'm sorry I can't answer your questions either. But, I'm really glad I can hardly rememer the last time we had a prescription filled at our house.

    Did you try contacting corporate?

  13. Thanks, Rachel! I found Revlon eye shadow on 75% off clearance. Made it $1.25 each. I didn't know if clearance items would trigger the ECB. They didn't, but I asked the cashier about it and was ready to return them. The cashier looked at the signage on the offer, said it didn't exclude clearance items, and printed the $7 ECB.

I don't know if that was what he was suppose to do or not. If you find clearance items, you might want to give it a try at your store.

  16. Jeri - I called CVS today and they confirmed that I bought 2 prescriptions last quarter so they will push through a $1 ECB for me. Apparently I didnt scan my card both times at the pharmacy. I joined the Beauty Club yesterday but still havent received the 10% shopping pass in my email.

I finally got my free Excedrin coupons in the mail today so ran down to CVS to do the ECB deal. The cashier tried to tell me I couldnt use more than one coupon at a time because they say "one coupon per purchase". After some discussion she let me use all 4 free coupons but she wasnt happy about it. All's well that ends well - I got 4 free Excedrin and earned $10 for it! But I hate when it seems I have to fight everytime I try to use coupons.

  17. Hi CJ - Thanks for following up on what happened with the prescription ECB.

I'm surprised with the cashier and the Excedrin coupon. That doesn't usually happen at CVS. They are usually well trained in coupon usage.

  18. Jeri - CVS is usually the only place I dont have coupon problems. Hopefully I just got a cashier having a bad day.

  19. Hi unfortunately we refill several prescriptions a month lately. The kids can't seem to stay strep free but I have not received a dollar ecb. Do you think it matters if you use a giftcard coupon?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Lisa - gift cards and coupons shouldnt effect it. If you still have your receipts, call CVS and they can confirm your prescriptions and credit you with your ECBs. I called a couple days and had a $1 ECB waiting in my account yesterday. They were very helpful.
