  2. I wasn't sure where to post this. Can anyone tell me how much newspapers are at Deals now that the Sunday paper went up to $2?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Carrie Deals doesn't carry the paper anymore.

  4. Hi Lynda - Thanks for getting back to Carrie.

Hi Carrie - The only place I know of that sells the paper for less than $2 is Sams club and the new CVS in the City. Both sell the paper for $1.50

  5. The Oscillo $5 Walgreens coupon doesn't work on the children's-only on the adults version. Just thought I'd pass along in case anyone is planning trips. Happy shopping.

  10. Where did you find the Nivea for men $1 coupon? Thanks!

  11. Hi All - Has anyone figured out waht exactly triggering the Breathe Right Catalina?

Thanks Melissa & Janet for the additional info.

Jen - The store I shop has the Nivea Artic Freeze in a cardboard display in the beauty area where. Those lower shelves between the front door and beauty counter. The coupon are with the display. Kind of stuck in a slot at the bottom of the dispaly. Hope you can find them.

  12. Jeri - The childrens Oscillo seems to be what's triggering the Breathe Right cat.
Pert Plus shampoo was on clearance for $1.09 at one of the Wags stores yesterday. Too bad my stack of $1 Pert coupons all expired 12/31 :(

  13. Jeri - Now I hear people are getting the Breathe Right cat for buying all kinds of different items - Tylenol, Sinex, Electrosol, Finesse, Pantene, Salonpas, etc. I bought Electosol and Oral B toothbrush and didnt get one, then bought another toothbrush and the Oscillo at another store and did get it.

  14. Hi All,

If you are not finding Electrasol at your Wags, CVS is having a deal on it next week also, buy $20 in listed items get $10 ECB. Other items included are listed at Iheartcvs. HTH =)

  15. Found $3.00 coupon for another box of the same inside the omega 3. Back to the store I go.

  16. Thanks,Anonymous! I'll add your info to the Field Notes.

  17. If youre having trouble finding the 10 ct Breathe Right strips to use the free catalina, the Wags at Gravois/Rock Hill had at least 10 of them today. All the other stores I've checked at have been out. Also no Oscillo at the 5 locations I've been to in the past 2 days.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I don't think the oscillo is triggering the breathe right strips. I bought $20 worth of Vicks, a Jet Dry and a Theraflu yesterday and got 2 of the free breathe right strip cats.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thanks, CJ!

Thanks, Anonymous! I've heard other products might be triggering the Breathe Right Strips too. You hit the jackpot and found two.

  20. I paid for a prescription and a box of Oscillo at the Kirkwood Wags pharmacy tonight. Along with the $9 RR for the Oscillo it also triggered catalinas for free Breathe Right, free Poise pads, and $2 off any Kleenex package!! So I got the Breathe Right and Poise and will look for a good deal for the Kleenex next trip. Now I'm wondering if you get better catalinas when you check out at the pharmacy instead of the front registers? Or maybe the prescription triggered all those good catalinas?

    ReplyDelete
  21. CJ, I don't think checking out at pharm or getting an RX gives you any better cats than you would have gotten. We get virtually all our rx's at wags, and we go through a ton of rx's and we never get cats at the pharmacy.

    ReplyDelete
  22. couponmama - I hardly ever get cats at the front register but almost every time I pay for a prescription I get at least 1 cat for something good. During the Jingle Cash weeks I even got a $6 JC just for paying for a prescription. Maybe it was just my lucky day :)

  23. NOT SURE WHERE TO POST THIS ...- Update on questions about a mail-in rebate at Wags (Children's Mucinex) from October. The question had been whether I'd get the full rebate because a register reward had been used for the original purchase. Answer: YES! I got a check today for $6.99.

Here is my original post: "I used the $6 RR from the Contac Cold & Flu to purchase the children's Mucinex. The cashier said I would only get a $0.99 rebate since that was all I "paid" (after the RR). I gambled and used the RR for the item (the only item in that transaction).
    Is the cashier correct?"

Cashier was WRONG - got the full rebate.

  24. Debra - Thanks for the info. Whenever a rebate form says "not good with other offers" I try not to use a coupon just in case, but I've actually never had a rebate get reduced because I used coupons or RRs.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks for the update, Debra! These individual rebates at Walgreens are fairly new, 6 months or so, It was everyone guess what would really happen until rebates started coming back. Cashiers usually don't guess correctly.
