The sale depends on the store, also...the one in Arnold is $1 for all the clearance items you can stuff in their OUC shopping bag, today only. The one in Kirkwood is all redlined clearance is only $1 now...it depends on how each store decides to move their merchandise.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie - Thanks for the info on Arnold and Kirkwood.
ReplyDeleteI knew this deal was for St Peter and Ballwin ony, but I probably didn't make that clear on my post. I revised the post. I hope it's clearer now.
St. Peters and Ballwin OUAC...that deal is like getting all the clearance you want for FREE! WOW
ReplyDeleteSpend a buck on a clearance item, get a buck to spend another day...it doesn't get any better than that! Susan Moore
Hi Susan - I agree. Almost makes me wish I had little ones still :)
ReplyDeleteI was in Ballwin at 7 and it was crazy. Only certain sections were $1 and those were crowded. We shopped for about 15 minutes before feeling too overwhelmed and getting in line. Even by then, checkout was a 40 minute wait. Not sure it was worth it. Also the $1 bonus is limited to one per regular priced item so not as good as it sounds.

I shop this sale twice a year... when they have it and buy a bulk of my kids clothes. I go at seven and it's nuts, but I do it with a friend so that makes the lines bearable. I've found that a lot of what is marked on clearance for $1 are the items that they priced too high in the first place. So it's almost all name brand. I usually get at least a few things new with tags too. Then I take the bonus bucks in and buy onesies and t-shirts that are marked $1 to $1.50. That's easier of course for the baby, but I can still find the big kids t shirts marked $1.25 sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHi All - Thanks for your comments. If these sales are crazy busy, it's either something shoppers love or hate.
