CVS $5 Scenario - Week of 2/27/11

You can save a ton of money at CVS rolling ECBs. 

If your store is busy, you might not want to do too many back to back transactions. I like to only do a couple of transaction and then step aside and let the people behind me checkout.  This keeps the other customers and cashiers happy.

purchase:
(1) Crest 3D White Toothpaste $3.29
use:
(1) Crest coupon (2/27/11 P&G) - $1.00
= $2.29 + tax out of pocket and get a $3.29 ECB
 
Transaction #2
purchase:
(1) RevitaLens Multi-Purpose Solution $5.99
use:
ECB from previous transaction -$3.29
= $2.70 + tax out of pocket and get a $5.99 ECB
 
Transaction #3
purchase:
(2) Oral-B Cross Action Power Toothbrushes @$6.00 each = $12.00
use:
(2) $3 Oral-B coupon (2/27/11 P&G) -$6.00
ECB from previous transaction -$5.99
= $0.01 + tax out of pocket and get a $6.00 ECB

use:
(1) Gillette ProGlide coupon (2/27/11 P&G) - $4.00
ECB from previous transaction $6.00 (cashier will reduce)
= $0.00 + tax out of pocket (if you have to pay in your state) and get a $4 ECB

    There's a BOGO Oral-B CrossAction Power toothbrush Q in tne 1/30/11 P&G (expires 2/28/11). Buy 2 toothbrushes for $12 - $6 BOGO - $3 MQ from 2/27/11 P&G = $3 OOP, receive $6 in ECB for a $3 MM! =)
