I've never seen the Physicians Formula products with the rebate peelies at CVS. Has anyone else been able to find them?
ReplyDeleteA couple of weeks ago, I found pee lies on the pf lash booster at cvs - Clayton and henry. Cadbury eggs are a good deal Sunday and Monday if you happened to receive the cvs easter mailer. Maureen
ReplyDeleteI am VERY new to couponing and to the St. L area. I'm so glad to have found this site. What does "ECB" mean?? I see it on CVS and Walgreens? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine! Welcome to St Louis and couponing.
ReplyDeleteECBs are Extra Care Bucks. They are coupons you can use on your next purchase (of most things in the store). The are printed at the end of your receipt.
RR (Register Rewards) are Walgreens version of basically the same thing, but they have a few more restrictions.
Keep asking questions. Everyone here is more than willing to help the newbie couponer.
Catherine, IMO CVS is way easier to start with because the ECBs really do spend like cash, though you cannot purchase items like alcohol with them. Walgreen RR act like a coupon that is not attached to a specific item (though you cannot use them to buy the same deal and receive the same RR in most cases). It is like taking that amount off your total, the catch here is that they count as a coupon, so you cannot use them if you already have manufacturer's coupons for all of your items - this means if you have 10 items and 10 mcs, you cannot use your RR to pay. That is why you will see Walgreens info with "filler" ideas - these are small items you add to your order specifically to be able to use your RR as payment.
ReplyDeleteAlso, CVS has limits on the number of times you can do a deal, so at least my CVS is much better about having stock on ad items. When you first start out and go in with a specific plan, and Walgreens is out of stock on an item, it can be confusing if you have to adjust on the fly.
Good Luck!
I picked up a Physician Formula concealer stick for $6.39 - after my $1 q, wound up being a $1.61 MM.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to St. Louis, Catherine! On which side of town are you? I am in Soulard/Lafayette Square (which is South City)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly in West County!
