ReplyDeleteHi Kelly - Thanks for the heads up. I better start reading the fine print on all coupons. I think we might be seeing more and more of these types of restrictions since Extreme Couponing is on TV.
ReplyDeleteI tried this yesterday at Dierbergs and they would not accept the $1 or the $1.50 coupons because they are both more than 50% of the sale price. Anyone else had this problem?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - Dierbergs IP coupon policy states - "Internet manufacturer coupons that exceed 50% of the regular retail value of the item will not be accepted."
ReplyDeleteInfo from their ad says the regular price for Guacamole is $3.48 and Salsa is $2.98. So I it looks like they were correct in not accepting the $1.50 coupon for Salsa, but they should have accepted it for the Guacamole. The policy makes no sense since it is the same coupon.
I was able to use all my coupons to score 4 free guacamoles. ;) awesomeness!
