  2. Thanks for getting this up so early! It makes planning a trip so much easier. :)

  3. Do you think the GM instant savings will stack? We have no fruit snacks and my kids might mutany and we are getting a care package ready to send to Afghanistan. I might take multiple trips just for the fruit snacks.

  4. Hi Marcella - The last two GM instant savings have stacked (up to 3 deals per transaction). I would think this one would too. I hope someone will have a definate answer.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Thanks Jeri. I'll do it no matter what b/c I need to get that package out. It would be nice, though, if it stacked. I'm not sure when I will be able to go but I'll report back my findings.

  6. I just want to clarify the pillsbury and betty crocker will only print one per transaction correct?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hi db - I hope I understand your question. Only one Catalina for Betty Crocker Spcialty potatoes or Pillsbury products per transaction.

Betty Crocker specialty potatoes, (5) or more you'll get $2 Catalina

    Pillsbury (6) or more you'll get $3.

You can purchase both in the same transaction and you'll get both Catalinas.

  8. I got 4 boxes fruit snacks and 4 boxes of cheerios and received $6 off my order :)

Also, I have been getting $1/1 California Pizza catalinas with my purchases of California Pizza.

Also, there was a Q for Prairie Farms OJ in the ad flyer as well to use with the $1.88 sale price.

Finally, there were a couple B2G1 Praire Farms yogurt on the back of my last weeks SNS receipt.

    Thanks for the great work!

  9. Marcella. I send out care packages too. My son is deployed. I would happily send your loved one a package too. My email is gjones@gotothetruth.com if you want to send me his/her address.

  10. Hi LeAnn - Thanks for confirming the GM Intant Savings stacks.

Is the Catalina for California Pizza working just on the For One variety?

  11. Has anyone used the "40cents off Prairie Farms 1/2 gallon square printable coupon"? It's a Pdf and it looks like it won't scan and "details" on the bottom left is UNreadable. Has anyone been able to use it without any problem? TIA.

  12. Does anywone know the price of the 12 packs of Coke? They advertise $2 off if you buy 4 but I was wondering if it was good deal or not. Thanks!

  13. I wanted to mention that the Kraft Natural Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia was included at my store at the 2/$4 price. This would work well for the $1 MQ in the 11/21 SS. I know it is late to be mentioning this for this week. However, since the sale continues next week, I thought this might be helpful to others.

Also I bought the Maruchan Yakisoba beef teriyaki for 78 cents using the 50 cents MQ in the 10/10 SS. We had it for lunch and thought it was pretty good. There are other varieties.

Both of these coupons expire 12/31.

  14. I didn't see the touch of philly Kraft cheese at my store.. and I looked!

For the Calif. Pizza I bought the single serving size last week and got the catalina. This week I bought the regular pizza and got another catalina. It doesn't seem to matter which one you get.

    ReplyDelete
  15. KC I used that coupon on the Kraft cheese this morning and it was such a great buy I bought a number of them. I was going to post it but couldn't remember where I found it. Thanks for posting.

  16. I forgot to look for the $1 Touch of Philly Q before heading to the store. I only had one, so not a big loss. I received a $2/2 Kahiki Q after purchasing 2 packages of egg rolls. Love little bonuses like that. =)

  17. OMG! I'm tired of looking inside of SNS today. I made 4 trips between 2 stores with a combined total of $283.17. After MQ/IPs/Cats/SNS 10-50/EntQ= $57.04. Need I mind you it took me 4 hours to 2am to plan a shopping strategy last night for this. Not to mention the 3.5 hrs to shop in store. I'm going to bed now. I'm zonked.I need my strength for Target & Wags tomorrow. WML

  18. I hope they have Exlax on sale next week, because after this SNS trip I have more cheese& crackers than I know what to do with! Those prior total listed above includes a Fricks ham cost almost $15.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Question: Does SNS price match? I saw a few items (Kellogg's cereal,Progresso) maybe 1-2 other items that were cheaper @ Schnucks this week. Is there a chance they would do that with sales ad in-hand to prove?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi All -

Thanks, LeAnn - I had gottten a print out about the California Pizza Cat and it only listed the For Ones as participating. Nice to know the bigger ones work also.

Coupon.girl - The current coupons on Prairie Farms are new. I haven't tried to use any of them, but I know some of the Prairie Farms printables have been a problem in the past.

Courtney - Great shopping! It's like you were making $30 (after taxes) an hour with what you saved for the time put in.

I've never heard of SNS price matching. Although, sometimes I've seen them change a price on a product to match what Shnucks advertised on the front page of their ad. I didn't see that happening this week.

Every manager makes some of their own decisions. Example: Crestwood matching Sappingtons money off coupons. It might not be a bad idea to ask the manager at your store if they would price match.

  21. Good Morning to All,

Hopefully everyone had a great shopping day yesterday.

I once again have to say "Thank you very much to Shop n Save". Chris, the manager at the WR store and Jeff at the EA store, are the bestest =). And very many Thank you's to the cashiers, especially Paula and Karon. =)

I had asked about a year ago about price matching to a Schnucks ad and was told no they did not do that, but things change.

    WTG Courtney =)

I can say I have no room for anything in my freezers. Yesterday I was able to get looooots of meats: 2 hams, 4 pks of pork tenderloins, 2 pks pork ribs(gonna smoke them Sunday), several pks of beef and pork, DHs portershouse steak for tonight and 5 small Shrimp rings.

Total of 8 trips at $26.86 for 174 items, each trip started at a little over $50 ea. =)

Today I have to finish Christmas shopping. Wish I could work some magic in that area =)

Have a great weekend to All =)

  22. Janet,

I would love if you could do a guest post (if it's okay with you, Jeri ;-)) on how you get your totals so low with meat, produce, etc. I was happy with my roughly $100 total for 5 trips, and that's with very little meat and produce. You seriously need to do a tutorial! I don't think I ever want to do 5 trips again, though. It was kind of fun, but exhausting.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I had a great sns day too. My first trip was $60 worth of food for $2.37. Unfortunately at the end of the round my daughter started puking all over the cart so I had to go back later in the night to do my second trip. I did not get my Pillsbury Catalina so can someone tell me the number for the Catalina company?
Also I still have a couple gift cards to buy and was wondering if anyone knew a good place to get them.

  24. Hi All

Janet - Great job as usual. I would love to come shopping with you some day!

Staci - I would love for Janet to write a guest post. Janet, are you interested?

Lisa - Great job. I hope your daughter is feeling better soon. I've heard of lots of people having the stomach flu this winter.

    Catalina Marketing (877) 210-1917, option 1.

Here is my post of What to do if your Catalina doesn't print.

  25. Lisa: Sorry to hear about your DD, hope she's better now.

Jeri: I never thought of "money saved" in the context of "pay per hour". Thanks for making me feel better. Because that stategy planning & shopping in store took alot out of me. I will check into that price matching & post an update.

Janet: I never pay attention to the item count even thought it's on the receipt: I had 124 items over 4 trips (avg totals on each receipt before savings $64

I need a tutorial on the meat/produce savings also. Pork chops @ $4.69/lb & chicken(wings)@ $2.39/lb is ridiculous to me! But I can can get as much SUGAR-ladened (cereal/juice/soda) & Processed-to Death food(frozen snacks/meals)as my heart desires for next to nothing. Somethings terribly wrong with that.

However, with the exception of the ham, I didn't get any Meat or produce. But I've decided to donate 2/3rds of the crackers & cheese to a dear charity organization of mine who fosters a majority of school age girls spanning 8-10 girls in each of 8-9 homes on Monday. They raved when I dropped off a heap of StayFree earlier in the year, as they don't get that donated ever!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi Courtney - What a generous act to donate your cheese & crackers. I'm sure they will love them.

  27. Jeri
Thank you so much for the information. My DD seems fine now just bad luck that the 24 hour flu hit while at the store:)

  28. I noticed last week's ad was really a two week ad. I had hoped that also meant this coming week would have another $10/$50 Thursday. However, I am not seeing that in the Post Dispatch or online for the Springfield stores. Guess that means if we want the extra 20% savings we need to print the Sappington Market coupon and shop at the Crestwood SnS. Right?
Thanks for all your help all year long!

  29. Hi KC - You're correct no $10 off $50 at Shop 'n Save this coming Thursday. When ever they have a two week ad, they don't usually have a $10/$50 the second week of the ad.
