  1. My Right Guard body washes rang up this morning at 2/$4.99 ($4.49 and .50) instead of B1G1, so with the B1G1 coupon I ended up paying .50 for both. Still a good trip - got the RG, Noxzema razors, Fixodent, Precise and Ecotrin all for $3.50 after coupons and earned RRs. Also got catalinas for Ecotrin and Reach.

I am new to couponing, and I am looking for the b1g1 for Right guard either the body wash or deodorant and don't have one, there aren't any in the three newspapers I bought or on line, am I losing my mind or did they not include one or is it just in my area? I am in CT

  4. also, a filler could be Arizona Tea. Reg .99, WAL Q for 2/$1 makes 1 .50

  5. has anyone done the TP deal? I have 2 RR to use up and I'm thinking of trying this tomorrow

    Use (2) .50 printable coupons - $1.00
Use $1 Walgreens coupon in May coupon book - $2.00

    (Makes it $.17 per roll)

I printed out the .50 coupon but it says "limit one coupon per purchase" so does that mean we can only use 1 instead of 2?

  7. I just tried the TP deal and the total came to $7.63 and got the $3.00 RR. Now i need to figure out what I'm going to do with the $3.00 RR.

  8. I don't have it either Joe, I am so disappointed!

  9. I did the TP yesterday, the teller rang them up @ $4 because the Walgreen coupon did not work (it was a day early, but the sign was posted for $4 each), used 2 .50 coupons, a $4 RR from prior week. I had also bought 2 pkg of 1/2 off Easter candy. paid 5.98 and received a $3 RR. Went today, bought 2 pkg, used $3 RR and $1 Walgreen coupon (doubled to $2). Tried to use the two .50 coupons, but would not take because the RR's ring up as MFG coupons. Can't use more than 1 MFG coupon per item bought. Also did not receive a $3 RR for the purchase.

  10. Anonymous,

If you used the Cottonelle RR from yesterday to pay for today's Cottonelle, I do not think you will get another RR (the small print usually limits one per offer, so you cannot roll your RR for an item to a new purchase of the same item and get another RR)...

  11. Hi Joe - Inserts are a bit different depending on which paper you purchase. Here in St Louis, I've even seen the Post-Dispatch inserts be different depending on which zip code you're in.

You could always purchase those coupons from a clipping service.

Cathy - Purchase and Transaction are two words that confuse a lot of new couponers and some cashiers.

Purchase mean items. You would be purchasing two Cottonelle yo can use two coupons.

Transaction mean one checkout. P&G has started to put "limit 4 per transaction" on their coupons. I think it might be a resrticiton we will start to see more often.

  12. Rolling RR - If you use a RR from the same manf. as the new deal you are purchasing most of the time you won't get another RR.

I awlays make it my policy to not use a RR from the same manf. as the deal I'm purchasing. Sometimes it does work, but usually not.

  13. the Lysol wipes coupon is $1 off of two wipes. I must have missed the other one. Boo Hoo...

  14. I don't see in the ad for the Cottonelle RR deal. I went to my W and could not get the RR because it is not listed anywhere. Also a manager had to override the register to get both .50 manufacturers coupons to print.

  15. Hi All

Lysol coupon. That's my mistake. I had the $1.50 coupons for didn't print the $1 Lyosl coupons. I sure dislike that all the info in not disclosed about the coupon until it prints.

Cottonelle RR is advertised on CouponNetwork.com (A Catlina Marketing website) You could print out the info and take it to the store. They should fix the problem.

  16. I did the Cottonelle deal today and each pack ran up for $4.00 plus they gave $1.00 off for each roll from the May coupon book, plus .50 off each for the two cottonelle manu. coupons that I had and I still got the $3 catalina. So i got them for a $1 a piece : ).

  17. The Relaxer on sale is actually a MM.

Relaxer Kit or Hair Color - $6.99
Dark & Lovely Relaxer Kit or Hair Color, Soft Sheen Optimum Care Relaxer Kit
Use: $4/1 Optimum Care or Dark and Lovely Relaxer Kit, Optimum Oil Therapy, and Optimum Salon Hair Care Walgreens IVC (expires 5/18)

    Get a $5 Register Reward (SoftSheen-Carson)
Final cost: $2.01 MM after RR, right?

    ReplyDelete
  18. doh - add to that an Optimum Relaxer $2 (pdf) printable at: http://www.softsheen-carson.com/pdf/OCSC_2OFF_Coupon_LOW.pdf so you will use 6 in Qs, pay $.99 and get back $5. I may be doing this a few times ;-)

( I don't relax my hair but I know several people who do!)

  19. Hi Anonymous - The Cottonelle I purchased on Sunday rang up for $5. You might have gotten in on a special price cut at your store.

  20. Hi ArmyMom - Thanks for the link to the Softsheen coupon. I had seen that coupon, but was reluctant to post it in match-ups since I couldn't find a link to it from a webpage. I'm a little gun shine on pdf coupons, not that they aren't legit.

Where is the IVC from? I can't find it and it's probably right in front of me somewhere.

  21. hi when the sale is Buy One Get One 50 % OFF and i have a B1G1 Free coupon, How that works?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi Janice - I'm not sure I have a good answer for you on this question. It all depends on how the register was programed, but chances are you will get the 50% off product as your free item.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks Jeri for your answer I am looking at getting the Old Spice deal at Walgreens this week. I see they are B1G1 50% off in the ad and also there is a coupon in the P&G 5/1/11 edition for B1G1 free…and there is a coupon for $1.00 OFF one, how do I combine those offers to get the best deal? I am confused how that works to combine them…any help would be great! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Im wrong the other coupon that I have is $1.00 OFF Two old spice products

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Janice - Let me see if I can walk you through how I think it will work

    B1G1 50% off Old Spice Body Wash $4.49 online price = $6.74
Use B1G1 coupon (will probabaly get run up for the 50% off produt) - $2.25
    Use $1 off coupon -$1.00
Final price: $3.49 or $1.75 each wyb 2

If the cashier pick up the full price for your B1G1 coupon then you would only pay $1.25 or .75 each.

I'm using the online price in this scenario. The price at your store might be a bit higher.

Make sure you print a copy of Walgreens coupon policy and take it with you when you shop.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I just read your second message. If the second coupon is $1/2 then this is how it probably will work.

    Buy (4) B1G1 50% off Old Spice Body wash = $13.47
    Use (2) B1G1 coupon -$4.50
    Use (1) $1/2 coupon - $1.00
Final price: $7.97 or $1.99 each wyb 4

If your store picks up the full price product for the B1G1 coupon then you would pay $3.49 or .87 each wyb 4

If you are a new couponer and don't have a relationship with a store/cashier, this might be a difficult transaction. Not that it isn't perfectly acceptable usage of coupon, but some cashiers don't understand how all these coupons can be combined.

Keep us posted on how it worked for you.
