Michelob Beer Rebate - $6 on Fresh Produce

image from Ellen
It is the season for beer rebates.  Coupon STL reader Ellen found this rebate on a Michelob golf display at Schnucks.

Save $6 via Mail-In Rebate on the purchase of Fresh Produce, Vegetables or Fruit.

  • No beer purchase required
  • Valid for residents of AL, AR, CT, HI, KY, MA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, RI, SD, UT, VA, and WV only
  • Purchase must occur by 5/01/11
  • Purchase price must exceed $10.00
  • Submit dated cash register receipt(s) with qualifying item price(s) circled.
For those not familiar with beer rebates, you periodically will find a rebate offer with a beer display. In Missouri, no beer purchase is ever required. The qualifying products are things you probably buy anyway. I've seen them for meat, cheese, salty snack, produce, soda and many other everyday items.

I save every receipt. When I find a beer rebate, I take a look to see if I've already purchased the qualifying products - many times I have.  All I have to do is submit the information, mail it in, and wait for my money.

Thanks, Ellen !

  1. I was not aware of these, I will have to look for them now. I was thinking that there had to be a beer purchase, until today and read the post more closely. :)

  2. I think you have a typo :). $6, not $7, right?

  3. Hi All - In Missouir and a few other states no beer purchase is ever required - it has something to do with state law. In other states there might or might not be a beer purchase requirment.

Thanks, for finding my typo. I need a proofer before I hit publish.

  7. Hi All - I had to look Land Shark up because I'd never heard of it before. I must live too close to the brewery and smelled too may Bud fumes to be be in the know on other brands. But, I know now what to look for. Thanks jelyni!

pixie_bit - Have you ever asked the manager at the store you go to why they don't ever have the beer rebates out?

  8. Hi! What address do you send it to? Also, do you know if they consider frozen fruits and veggies too? This is great!

  9. Hi Caroline - You'll find the address to send the rebate to on the form. You do have to find one of the form to submit the rebate.

The rebates states fresh produce. I'm pretty sure it would get denied if you submitted it with frozen products.
