I am thinking if you buy $10, you get a $2 Catalina? ;)

  2. Hi Tonya - Wouldnt that be the deal. Thanks for caching my typo. It's buy $40 get $12

  3. Grape Nut Flakes are on sale for $1.88 this week. There are hardly ever coupons for this, so this is my stock up price.

  4. I got an ad for ALPS last week that has coupons in it. They say "In-ad coupon, redeemable at ALPS" but they are manufacturer coupons. Can I use these at other stores?? Thanks for any help!

  5. hi

there is a typo in this scenario

    Buy (4) Beggin Strips = $12
    Use (2) B1G1 coupon -$6.00
    And use (2) $1/2 coupon -$1.00
    = $5 for 6 packages or .83 each

you can only use 1 1/2 coupon, and you have that in your math but you list using two 1/2 coupons

  6. i was just at schnucks and they had a display out with keebler cookies $2 each with coupons for $1.00 off on the package - making them $1.00 each.

  7. I have a question about correct coupon usage. I have several coupons for $2 off ground beef wyb 2 Hamburger Helpers. I plan to buy 10 HH and would like to use 5 of these coupons. Do I need to buy 5 separate packages of ground beef or can I buy 1 or 2 large packs, as long as they are at least $10 total?
    Thanks!

  8. Hi JB
technically yu should be able to buy one large pack but the last time I did one like this the cashier said I couldn't. Finally the manager said I could and it was fine but if you get a manager who doesn;t understand coupons you might have problems.

    ReplyDelete
  9. JB- you could always ask the meat dept to package the hamburger in smaller packs for you. If you talk to the manager, they will probably give you the cheeper price per pound for buying the larger amount. As long as you are buying the same weight and they are in a good mood! :)

  10. JB,

Hold your Hamburger Helper Qs for Dierbergs this week. A great Catalina deal. Buy 10 you end up getting a $1 and $5 cat. So really wonderful deal. I am getting 100 for our food pantry.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks for the input everyone. Rhonda, yes I am planning on using them at Dierbergs. I asked under this matchup because Dierbergs isn't up yet and I figured my question wasn't really store specific. Where is your food pantry located? I will definitely have extra HH I can donate.

  12. Hi All,

Dierbergs I believe is an instant off not a Cat back. HTH

Also please not if you are using using both the -.75/3 HH or the -1/3 HH and the -$2 off Beef wyb HH**These coupons are both coded for the HH and May create lots of beeps and questions at Dierbergs. HTH =) I thought about doing it But with the coding for HH on the coupons it might be extremely difficult and my last visit at Dierbergs was Terrible.

  13. Ooops my bad typing that should be "Please note". HTH

  14. Hi All -

Amy B - Yea, I you don'ge see Grape Nut coupons very often. Less than $2 is not a bad price for the healthy cereal.

Courtney - Depends on the cashier/store if you can use a manufacuter coupon that says redeem at a different store.

If the coupon said redeem only a "specific" store, then I would say no, but when a coupon doesn't mention "only" I think any store would get reinbursed for the coupon. But, some stores don't see it that way.

Sadina - Thanks for catching my typo! I would really confuse the newbies, if my other readers didn't catch my errors. I really appreciate when a reader leaves a commnet, so I can fix my post.

    Thanks, Liz!

Hamburger Helper Coupons - Thanks, Janet for letting us know those off Beef coupons will beep.

If anyone is planning on using these, a stop at Customer Service and/or with the manager before you shop.

  15. On the Schnucks website (http://www.tvscratchgames.com/qualityville/Register.cfm) you can print a $10/$50 coupon after you watch 14 videos. You should receive the email coupon the day after you finish watching the videos and the coupon expires 3 days after. The coupon states "limit one coupon per customer. Not valid for purchase of gift cards or lottery. Excludes items prohibited by law" and it prints your name and city on the coupon.

  16. Thanks CJ! My coupon is on the way, too!

Does anyone know how long the Unilever deal is active??

  17. Unless I'm missing something, is this one wrong?

    Bertolli Pasta Sauce (15-24 oz) - $2
    .60 - 4/17/11 RP
    = $1.20 after coupon

Shouldn't that be $1.40 after coupon?

  18. Hi Shannon - There are not dates with the info in Schnucks ad. And in different markets their ad starts and ends on different dates. If you are in St Louis the sale prices were over on Sunday, but the Cat might trigger through Tuesday or it might also be over. I don't think there is any whay to know, unless you give it a try.

Thanks, for catching my typo on the Bertolli!

  19. Thanks Jeri. I hit the UCity store (which generally operates on the same prices as the Richmond one) this morning. The hangtags for the unilever are still up and say its good through 5/17. I might go back tonight or tomorrow.

Another deal I got this morning was:
Prairie Farms 1/2 gallon ice cream boxes
    reg ~3.20(ish?)
    on sale for 2.88
coupons from here (http://www.prairiefarms.com/index.php?p=478) for .40, which double, making them 2.08 each. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks for the info Shannon - So it looks like the Cat runs as long as the stores whose ads run through Tuesday each week. Were the Unilever products still on sale?

Thanks for the PF Ice Cream price.

  21. Some were, but I didn't have a chance to check all of them. I didn't prep for that deal, so I wasn't sure what all to look for. In fact, this store changes prices Monday morning. The prices had changed in the computer, but not all the tags had been changed yet.
