ReplyDeleteIf you didn't purchase papers on 5/1 to get the inserts, you could try a clipping service or post on Coupon Traders (link is on right side bar) and maybe someone has extras to trade with you.
ReplyDeleteI bought 4 fruity pebbles and only got $3 catalina. :-(
ReplyDeleteHi Skytrakn - That is the info I have buy (4) or more get $3 RR.
ReplyDeleteNo Dole Fruit Crisp at the SoCo Wags but I was happy they had the Hellmans Mayo ($1.99 after $1 coupon) and I got Bliss chocolates for $1.50 each and Dove Men +Care deo free after coupon and RR.
ReplyDeleteTo Anonymous - the $3/2 Capn Crunch coupons expire 5/21 so if you do get some they are only good for a few more days. I left my last 2 coupons for them on the shelf at Target today because I knew I wouldnt get to use them.
A great day at Walgreen's for me!! I may have gotten a better deal than I should have, though... I did the (3) Gillette Body Wash/(3) deodorant deal, choosing three deodorants priced at $4.99 (the max for the free coupon). Looks like Walgreen's has them priced a B1G1 50% off though... SOooo, an extra $2.50 came off my receipt automatically, and the cashier also subtracted my 3 coupons at $4.99 each. Didn't notice til I got home, though...
ReplyDeleteThe didn't have the Dole fruit crisps. I went to Wal-Mart with the ad and they matched the price.
ReplyDeleteFYI, for those considering the First Aid kit deal, the Johnson & Johnson travel first aid kits that come in small white plastic boxes are included in the qualifying products. They are priced at $1.99 and you can use a $1/2 John & Johnson Red Cross branded products coupon.
ReplyDeleteThe kit that you get free is really just a small red bag that zips up. The coupons inside are not exactly stunning either...I would not recommend going out of your way to make this deal work. If you are looking for stuff like travel kits for the summer anyway, you might as well though.
Hi All - Thanks for the field reports.
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy Gillette, but I might have to go back for that.
Mary - Thanks for the reminder about Walmart matching prices. If Target carries Dole Fruit Crisp they will match prices too.
pixie_bit - The J&J 1st Aid products don't sound like much of a deal. Thanks for the details.
For anyone who buys the Gillette deal - make it even better by finding and sending in the P&G rebate (buy $30, get $10 prepaid card). They are around town - I found mine near Charmin in my grocery store. You are already buying $10 in body wash and almost $18 in deodorants (depeding on the ring up) if you add $5 worth of any of the P&G products, you will be at your $30! You could add Duracell batteries, Charmin toilet paper, Herbal Essences, Old Spice (do the 3/10 and buy 2 using the B1G1 from 5/1, you won't ge the register reward), it is a long list....
ReplyDeleteI wish I had noticed this before I bought mine, Just thought I would mention it, because I ended up short by only a couple dollars and you can only use one reciept for the rebate form.
Good Afternoon to All,
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI if your store does allow overage-do not forget the Poligrip is running $2.29 -$2.00 Free Q from 3/27 RP - $1 Monthly Wags Booklet Q = $.71 overage ea. But please make sure you have other items to cover your overage. I used it today to go toward the SoftSoap and OM lunchables. =)
I am confused with scotch deal because it only says $1 off (one coupon per purchase). So am I supposed to buy three scotch magic tapes use the manufacturer coupon first (giving me $1 dollar off?) then giving my store coupon (b1g2 @ $1.99). by my calculations ill be paying 99 cents instead of making $1.01. please reply (I am new to couponing)
ReplyDeleteGiovani you are supposed to use 3 $1 dollar off coupons.
ReplyDeleteGiovani-
ReplyDeleteOne per purchase is one coupon per item you are purchasing. One per transaction is one coupon per time you pay. Does that help? When you pay for the purchases, you complete the transaction.
Hope that helps
Yes it does, thanks allot for the help!
ReplyDeleteThanks, pixie_bit for the P&G rebate info and Janet for the Poligrip info.
ReplyDeleteThanks all for answering Giovani question and welcome Giovani to the world of couponing.
I clicked on the link to get the scotch tape, it didnt have the one I printed off before. I only have two, but according to my calculations, I only need two.. I dont understand how I would need three to get them free. Help?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning to All,
ReplyDeleteYesterday was not a good Wags day for me. I stopped at my normal Wags to place an SO for upcoming sales and was told: No more SO per the District Manager, seems there is someone in my area that is braggin about taking Wags items to a flea market in Grafton and selling them for an extreme profit and braggin about selling at yard sales. Sooooooo Thanks a Million to those selling Wags products at flea markets and yard sales--you are going to ruin good fun shopping with your greed. =)
Hi Anonymous - Two coupons will make the Scotch Tape Free, three coupons will make it a money-maker.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet - I'm sorry to hear that. But, I can understand why Walgreens is trying to stop resale of their product. They put that sticker that says" This itme is intended for sale at Walgreens. If ound at other outlets call 1-800-666-5677" on some items. I wonder why they don't put that on all RR items?
ReplyDeleteA while ago at CVS there was a deal for the Oral B electric toothbrushes and my store did not have them for a long time - even after the sale (I was waiting to use my raincheck). I finally asked and they said that the case of those toothbrushes that they had for the sale had been stolen and that they did not replace it because they were a very common item for resale at flea markets. I thought it odd but the time, but it seems to be a pretty substantial issue for the stores.
ReplyDeleteI tried to go to walgreens twice and they didnt have the toothpaste. It was at different locations and on different days.
ReplyDeleteAlso, they would not take my scotch tape $1 off coupons at the second location. The checker said they are no longer taking those. I think I might be done with walgreens. They seem like such a hassle.
Hi Anonymous - Wow, you didn't have a good trip to Walgreens at all. Stock is an issue on RR deals. If you don't shop on Sunday you are lucky to find any of the RR or sale items left.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a CVS close to you, they are much more coupon friendly. If they are out of stock, at least you can get a Raincheck and the ECB's will trigger when you redeem the raincheck.
Thanks a lot for the info. I did go Sunday and they were out. I did pick up some tape and detergent though. Thanks for all the info
