Aldi Price Check

June 12 , 2011

Every week, Aldi has 5 to 6 Produce Picks that are priced lower than you what you will ever see elsewhere.  If you are close to an Aldi, it worth the time to stop in to pick some up.

Aldi now has their local ads online.   Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday.  If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local area's ad for prices and dates.

The prices shown are from the Holly Hills store in St Louis.  Prices and availability vary a bit between stores, but Produce Picks will be the same price throughout the St Louis Metro area.

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons

If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.

  1. Eggs were $0.99 at the Aldi on S Grand yesterday. I have no idea when their ad starts (I thought it was Sunday) so maybe they won't be that price all week?

  3. Hi Courtney - From what I understand, prices do vary between stores, some of it depends on the competition in the local area, other prices are depeding on what they need to move out of the store with ripeness and expiration dates.

  4. are these prices only good on this day?

  5. Hi Anonymous - Boy, I didn't make this post clear at all. The produce picks are the the St Louis area price good through next Saturday, 6/18.

The other pirces are the prices at the store I shop as of Sunday, 6/12. Those prices can change at any time and might be different from store to store. But, the prices are usually close and don't change that often.

    Sorry about the confusion.
