Aldi $10 off $40 Coupon

Over the weekend, the Crestwood Aldi (9274 Watson) delivered door hangers with a $10 off $40 coupon to residences .  Coupon is good at the Crestwood store only and expires 7/03/11.

If you are in that area of town, did you get a Aldi coupon?  Do you have friends or relative in the area that wouldn't be using the coupon?  You might want to ask them for theirs.

Thanks, Anne!

  3. Bummer! I'm in the city and didn't get anything. I definitely could use that!

  4. I didn't get one!

Though I think it would be hard to spend $40 at Aldi.

  6. Hi All - The Crestwood SNS might match this coupon. It would be worth asking about.

I didn't get a coupon, but keep thinking about what I might buy at Aldi to get to $40. Besides the normal $10 to $12 I usually spend on perishables, I might stock up on butter and put it in the freezer and maybe some of their frozen fish or shrimp.

  7. We are a family of 5. So it wouldn't be hard to do it. Especially as a stock up like on canned black beans, frozen fruit etc.

  8. I live in a community of 4 family flats and our building only has one other family in it so I took 3 of them off the door!! When I went into the store that same day and did some shopping I overheard the manager talking to another manager about not having seen those before except at new store openings. They are accepting them but I found it a bit odd the manager didnt even have a clue how they were distributed.

  10. @Heather, I have 5 of them. LOL We are in a big townhouse/apartment complex. I took them from the units I knew were vacant.

  11. I am plotting my $40 purchase. Will have to wait for a couple weeks til I can make some room in the freezer. I'll get frozen chicken, talapia, fries, produce, milk, canned goods, cheese and cereal. Aldi usually has some plants and general merchandise so if I have trouble making it to $40 I might look for something like that.

  12. Oh I didn't even think about the plants!

  13. I can't believe some of you are saying how hard it is to get up to $40 at Aldi's. Your really missing out. I now do almost all of my shopping there with an occasional SNS no coupon Thurs. Their private label food is AWESOME. We entertain frequently and our guests always ask where we bought such n such chips, dips, ice cream, cinnamon rolls, private brand Capri Sun's etc. Their quality has done a 180 in the last 10 years and beats the heck out of SNS and Schnucks.

  14. I dont have a family, guests or much food storage room so it was a little hard for me to get to $40 but I did it! Got chicken tenderloins, frozen salmon, several bottles of juice and tea, $10 of canned veggies, strawberries, 2 boxes of cereal, eggs, tortellini, and pancake mix. Will get $10 back for a Corona beer rebate for the chicken and salmon so I paid just $28 for all after discounts.
