Jeri, I agree about your comment to let others step in line ahead of you, but how many times? I have had the cashier ask me to step aside, and I do so willingly, but then four people are taken ahead of me and I end up waiting and waiting.
ReplyDeleteIt is a difficult call to make, but I don't think it is fair either to the "couponer" to stand and wait continuously. Personally, I begin to feel like a less valued customer after about one round of stepping aside.
Hi Denise - Yes, I agree there is a limit of how many times a couponer would need to step aside to let others checkout. I haven't had run into the situation of more than a couple people behind me in line.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to talk to a manager, and if you have quite a few transactions, ask them to check you out, so as not to hold up the other cashiers and customers. If the store is buy and they don't have all the registers manned - they should.
