  1. I went to the Shop&Save close to my house and there were $1 off 2 stickers on the Keebler crackers that are on sale for 2 for $4. I got the toasted pecan. That makes them 2 for $3!!!

  4. Anyone else look closely enough at the Kellogg's deal to be confused? It says 'only items in the box' but shows a pic and price for 8 count poptarts, but says it's for '12 count or higher'. It makes me wonder if there truly are more products that are included with such vague wording as 'assorted varieties, etc.'

  5. Good Evening to All,

Melissa-I did see the typo in the Ad for the Poptarts. And yes there is more items but I cannot say for sure which items =( I bought the Keebler Jumbo Fudge Sticks last week and received the $5 instant discount and they are not shown in the ad. This one might be trial and error.

  6. Hi All -

Thanks, Lynda for letting me know about the Graham Cracker coupon being gone. I'll not it on my post.

Melissa - I noticed that too. I figured they will put a correction notice by the ad stand.

Janet - I agree. The ad alluded to maybe more items included.

I'm testing to see if the reply to comment link works. I hope it does.

  8. @Jeri I see a couple different things going on Jeri. I really like the drop down menus at the top. =) And the color change =)

You can tell my oldest is home and he has been helping me a bit on the look and features of my blog.

I like the reply button, too bad it didn't put the response under the original comment, but I'm restricted with blogger.

I'm going to have him work on the that "red". Not that I don't like red, but it's the wrong one.

  10. ??? Can anyone explain the new wording on the SNS Q's in the new entertainment books the kids are selling at school. Does this mean that I won't be able to combine this Q with the $10 off $50 discount day at SNS? And am I not going to be able to buy a SNS gift card with this Q?

    ReplyDelete
  11. @Anonymous

I haven't seen the new books yet, what does the wording on the SNS coupon say?

    ReplyDelete
  12. The customer service gal told me you can't buy a gift certificate with the new entertainment book coupons starting in Novemeber.

  13. Does anyone know of any other inclusions in the Kellogg's deal this week? The wording on the Entertainment book is, "Save $5 on your $50 or more Shop N Save purchase. One discount per transaction- coupons may not be reproduced or copied. Excludes the normal...fresh milk, pharmacy, beer, wine, lottery, etc..." It sounds like we can use it on Thursdays, just not on gift cards.

  14. Hi All,

Just wanted to pop in and let you know how it was stated to me and this is regarding the Current coupons.

No we cannot use the -$5/$50 coupons to buy NON Shop n Save Gift Cards. RE: they cannot be used to buy Applebees GCs. They can be used to buy Shop n Save Gift Cards Only. If you have been allowed to use them on other GCs this was wrong and should not have been allowed.

Now my question is does the new coupons Exclude Shop n Save Gift Cards? Or is there no mention of this at all?

And you know what? Thank goodness I have next Thursday off ;) I will get there as soon as I can-trying to get dinner prepped. I do want to mention that there is some BIG BOLD Wording in the "Yellow box" that I have never seen before. See ya there ;)

  15. And I am going to be shopping a couple rounds on the MO side. =) !!!!!!

  16. Good Evening to All,

I just wanted to let ya know-I been there and done that =)

  17. Janet the customer service manager told me that they would not let you use the 5 off of 50 for shop n save gift cards starting in Novemember. I have seen the coupons so I am not sure how they read. She said she was told to tell all of the customers when they come in and use them.

  18. @Teresa Thanks! It doesn't sound too different than the previous years.

    @Janet Thanks!

  19. Jeri,
I love the new site. I personally prefer how the reply comments appear at the bottom instead of right under the original comment. It is much easier for me to make sure I read all the new comments that way.

  20. @JB You can tell my oldest is home for a couple of weeks between the summer job and when classes start again.

I'm finding posts easier with the drop down menu. I hope everyone else is too.

I was hoping for a threaded comments(sometimes there are three or four conversations going on at the same time), but all that was possible with blogger was what he put on the site. But, I can see the advantage of not being threaded now with your comment.

If you can think of anything else you would like to see, let me know. I'll see what my son can do.

  21. If the new Entertainment Book SNS coups cant be used on SNS gift cards, I wont be buying any books this year. I dont ever buy more than $50 at one time so the $5 coupons are only worth it to me if I can buy SNS gift cards with them. I'll be taking more of my business to other grocery stores if this is the case, and will be sure to let SNS know.

  22. The above comment was from me, not sure why it put "SNS" as the author!!

  23. Hi CJ,

That post had me laughing cause I thought for sure SNS was upset at SNS =) And I guess I am the opposite-I hardly ever buy a SNS GC with the -$5/$50 coupons, I save them only for -$10/$50 days so I do not think it is going put a damper on my plans. =)

  24. Hi CJ & Janet - The only time I buy SNS gift cards with the Entertaiment Book coupon is if I have a few left and they are ready to expire.

But, I understand CJ, if you rarely purchase $50 in one transaction, I wouldn't bother with the Entertainment books either.

  25. Hi All,

I just had to tell you the great deal I fell upon this morning at SNS. They must have just put some whole chickens on Managers Special and I found 8 chickens avg $2.60 ea -$1 on $2 + Chicken purchase WTs made for some really cheap chicken. Had to walk them over to my Moms freezer cause I could not have squeezed them into mine. Total was $12.66 for 8 whole chickens. Thanks a million SNS =)

  26. @Jeri
I would love a post each week where we could post great deals we find throughout the week. Kind of like the "notes from the field" you used to do from Walgreens and CVS, but have it not be store specific. It would be great if there was a link to it on the front page.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @JB Yes, JB that is planned. I put that community tab at the top of the page and going to put it under that tab.

  28. I just saw the new Entertainment Book coupons and they do now say "Excludes...ALL gift cards". Major bummer :( Good thing I still have several coupons left from this year, I'll buy several SNS gift cards that will last me into next year. I dont get SNS sometimes. As long as I'm spending $50 at their store, why do they care whether its in gift cards or actual groceries?

    ReplyDelete
  29. @CJ

Thanks, for the exact wording on the Entertainment book coupon. That does change your situation with SNS.
