FYI, at the Gravois CVS the Optic White 4oz is ringing up $1.12 with no ECB or limit. I had 2 in my first transaction and used the CVS coupons for $1 off each one. Then went back and got 4 more to use the $1.50 off coupons thinking he would reduce the coupon to $1.12. Instead it took $1.50 off twice and reduced the second one down so i got 4 for free with only 3 coupons used. I guess i could have gone back and got another one but I didn't. Now's the time to stock up on free toothpaste for sure though.
ReplyDeleteThe SoCo store wouldnt let me stack coupons for the Colgate Optic White, they said the coupon from the CVS website is actually a manuf coupon even though it says CVS at the top and doesnt have a remit address. I asked the cashier how they know where to send the coupon since it has no remit address. She couldnt answer that but said the manager is not allowing them to take both coupons. I got Softsoap body wash and 4 pack soap, Quattro razor and Thermacare, all free after coupons and ECBs. Couldnt find the free Excedrin.

ReplyDeleteHi CJ - From what I've read, couponers have contacted corporate and the store are suppose to accept the CVS coupons and a manufacturer coupon, even if the CVS coupon beeps. You might want to call CVS Corp. and see if they can get "that message" to this store.
Jeri - I'm through trying to get stores to operate correctly. If they deny my coupon, they dont get the sale. Trying to reason with them and contacting corporate just isnt worth my time anymore.
ReplyDeleteGet $2 free ECB for pledging to not throw away your ECBs (why would anyone throw them away???). They will email the ECB to the first 500,000 people, they are only up to 68,000 so far.
