I tried the GM catalina this evening with the Green Giant vegetables and wanted to report that it stacks! I bought 12 boxes of veggies and received 2 of the $3 catalinas.

ALSO - the Old El Paso products are still on sale and are still printing the $3 off meat catalina.
Can you roll the GM catalinas on another GM purchase?

ReplyDeleteHi Curious - If you want to buy 12 GM items, you can buy them in one transaction and you will get (2) $3 Catalina coupons.
Buy, I would do two back to back transactions. Buy (6) in the first transaction, get a $3 Catalina and use it to pay for your second transaction of (6).
Either way will work.

I think it's a great deal and concentrated stock is just as easy to use as broth.
This is a great deal. There are 4 pack that make 28 oz. each in the carton. I usually feel like I'm doing ok if I can pick up a 14 oz. can for around 50 cents.
Now, I just wish I had ten coupons to take advantage of Dierbergs Instant Savings.

ReplyDeleteHi Eve - The price in the ad for Macaroni Grill Dinner kigs are 2/$7.00. These are the dinner kits not the frozen products.
They are really fancy Chicken Helper. I love both Macaroni Grill and Wanchai Freery kits. They taste great and easy & quick to get dinner on the table.
The nature valley granola bars are printing a second Catalina. Buy5 or more recieve $3, buy4 get $2, buy3 get $1. All in addition to the gm Catalina.

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard the Pizza rolls were triggering a Catalina, but they could be included in the GM deal this week.
I know other products included in the GM Cat had the info on the sale shelf tag. You shouls be able to tell at the store if they are included or not.
I was going to buy Krunchers at SnS for $1.88 each but since Schnucks got the frozen Green Giant brussel sprouts on the Cat. deal and I found a Deal-icious coupon book in one of the carts at SnS a few days ago, and a friend gave me another one, I decided to do the GM deal & use the $3 Cat. to buy (4) Krunchers at $1.89 each at Schnucks. Two regular registers got long lines so I self checked-out. Divided my loot into two so as not to exceed the limit of 20 items. Left half of them in a cart on the side then went in line. First, I did (6) cans of Progresso veggies & (2) bottles of ice tea. Then, used the $3 cat. to pay for the (6) Green Giant. Then luckily, I saw a courtesy clerk by the Customer Service and asked him where I can leave the grocers I just paid for since I had to go back. He was so nice & said he can watch out for my cart. Went in line again, rolled the $3 cat. on (6) Hamburger helpers and then finally used the $3 Cat on (4) Krunchers. My OOP including tax after ALL coupons was $11.62 and I sipped on a McDo Free Frappe Mocha c/o Ent. Book coupon on my WALK home. I really have to remember not to buy canned goods next time. My shoulders still hurt. :( Cooked HB Lasagna for dinner last night. Not bad for 25cents/box after tax & for aching shoulders. ;)
ReplyDeleteSaw a signage for Grande Tortilla== "Buy 2 for 2/$4". Has to buy (2) to get them for this price and if I remember right, this price is good until Oct. 15 and there's a $1 coupon from one of the inserts. Wonder if this is the best price!?! Ms. Jeri and everyone?? :I

Yes, $2 for Grande Chips is a very good deal. There is a $1/1 coupon in 9/11/11 SS. Thanks for passing on the info.
My hubby said before that I should steal one of the grocery stores' cart! LOL.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone try rolling their GM Cats to get more of the same GM products that also produced Cats (in separate transactions)? Or is Schnucks like Walgreens where your Cat doesn't reproduce if you are buying the same products?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous - I rolled the GM Cat four times. I've never had a problem rolling Catalinas at any grocery store. Although, I think it's the P&G Cats that say they aren't to be used on P&G products.
