What's for Dinner? Stadium Food

No, we don't have tickets, but that doesn't mean we won't enjoy the game on TV and set the mood at dinner.

  • Bratwurst with sauteed onions
  • Nacho Chips & Cheese
  • Soda or Beer
Not the healthiest dinner tonight, but it's not every year the Cardinals play in the World Series.

What's for dinner at your house tonight?

  1. No dinner tonight, I'm working late and trying to ignore the World Series.

  2. For a moment, I was going to scream and yell "No Fair!" ;)

We're having Fiesta Chicken and Rice...and cheering on the Cards all the way from Wisconsin (well, I am...my husband is a *sniff* Brewer fan...)!

    Here's the recipe link:

  3. We're going to enjoy the game with pretzels from Pretzel Boys! Best pretzels around - located on Manchester Rd in Des Peres. If you go to their website and sign up, you'll get a coupon for a FREE pretzel....but probably not in time for tonight's game - enjoy during another game! www.stlpretzelboys.com

  6. Thanks for the idea, Jeri! I pulled some hot dogs out of the freezer and am going to try my hand at nacho cheese sauce. Bought some peanuts in the shell, too. =)

    Enjoy the game!

  8. No Baseball theme for us but we had tilapia and couscous. Nothing screams out baseball fans like tilapia and couscous right? Hahaa.

    Go cards!

  9. Hi All - Thanks for particpating in What's for Dinner. Links to recipes are appreciated.

Thanks, Cindy! I'll post about Pretzel Boys.

Katherine - I hope it's a baby and not an adult with a broken jaw that had to eat the smashed peas and pureed chicken.

Kelly in St Charles - Have fun and bundle up.

Marcella - You might have to have tilapia and couscous every night of the series. It sounds like it made for a winner.

  10. We tried your cauliflower soup last night. Hubby raved about that soup more than any soup I've ever made. I think it has officially joined our repertoire. (No, not very baseball but tonight it's brat burgers!)

Glad you like the soup. It became an instant favorite at our house too.

  12. Yeah but I think I ran over the rally squirrel today so it might not be a good night.
