If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons

If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.

  1. The IL store(s) has multi-colored peppers (3 ct.) for .79 this week even though it's not a "produce pick" it's a great price.

  2. Blueberries are super easy to freeze, just rinse, toss in gallon size freezer bag (I buy a lot LOL), and toss it in the freezer! Frozen blueberries are $2.99 for 12 oz at Aldi, so these are 1/3 of the price!

    1. Hi Jen B - Do you flash freeze the blueberries on a tray before you put them in the bag?

    2. Jeri,
I freeze them on a jelly roll pan first. I try to put a baking mat down first (or you could use waxed or parchment paper), otherwise the blueberries sometimes stick to the pan and are hard to get up.

    3. I freeze mine on paper towel-lined cookie sheets. Did you know you can freeze mashed avocados mixed with lime juice when Aldi has them on sale, too? It freezes GREAT for CHEAP guacamole all summer!!

    4. Hi Jessica - Great idea on the avocado.

  3. The Aldi on S. Grand has 1 gallon whole milk for $2.59. I didn't check the other milk prices, but they were correspondingly lower.

    1. Hi Courtney - I saw an Aldi ad on TV last night advertising Milk. They must be making a big push on how much cheaper their milk prices are.
