Sappington Farmers Market Liquidation Sale - 20% off

Sappington Farmers' Market Closing

I received sad new in my email last night.  Sappington Farmers' Market is closing on Friday, August 24th.  I hate to see a local business close, and it will be the end of the $5 off $50 purchase coupon match at Shop 'n Save.

Here  is the info they sent to subscribers:
To our Valued Customers & Supporters:
After years of operating as a food market specializing in locally produced food and produce, Sappington Farmers Market will close on August 24th. We have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into making this market a success since purchasing its assets out of bankruptcy earlier this year.
Unfortunately, declining sales, outdated equipment and competition from larger markets in the neighborhood have made continuing operation impossible. We gave it our best shot and thank our employees and customers who have been loyal until the end.
Our company, Impact Funders, remains dedicated to our mission of making locally produced food available to consumers in the St. Louis area. We will continue to offer these products through our Farm to Family food brands and our local distribution operation.
We are also committed to continuing to look for opportunities for other store locations in the region and trust our customers will find us in a new location in the not-too-distant future.
Sincerely,
Your friends at Sappington Farmers' Market

If anyone heads to Sappington Farmers' Market and finds a great deal, let us know.

    1. I used to shop every once in awhile at SFM, but I'm sure it's been over a year since I've been there. I feel bad that I added to their lack of customers.

  2. We bought big sacks of quinoa and brown rice at a very good price, if you like bulk foods I think they may have more.

    1. Is there very much left in the store? I saw a picture on a media webstie that was taken last Friday, and the shelves were almost bare, but it was of the wine department. A distributor might have take those back.

    2. We bought the sacks of grain on Sunday. and The liquor has been gone for a few weeks and the shelves were a little bare, the cashier said they might go to 30 percent off by the end of the week, they have great specialty foods and at thirty percent off those are not a bad buy.

    3. Thanks, I'll have to watch for their emails and will post if they go to a deeper discount.
