  1. Cheapest gillette shave gel at my cvs was close to $5, this may not be a deal this week. Bic razors were around $7.50 making them around $2.60 each with (2) $3 mg and the b1g1%50, and schick hydro 3 was $9.99, use the $4 mcd and get a $4 eb.

    1. Also, at walgreens, you may need to give the cashier the $1.50 printable for the biore first, I couldn't use mine for some reason, and it may because I gave the b1g1 first? Shouldntbe the case, but it may make for smoother transactions.

    2. Hi pixie_bit - Thanks for the price check on Gillette Shave Gel. I wonder if the $1.69 can might have been trial size?

Walgreens coupon policy states you can use another coupon on a B1G1 sale, but with their new cash registers and the new coding on the coupon, I don't know if you hand coupons to the clerk in any order if it works without a cashier manually entering one of them. It's always an adventure at Walgreens.

  2. Oh Walgreens… always an adventure! I bought four bags of Chex (turtle variety), two Bugles, and used six $0.50 coupons. All of the varieties I purchased had the RR signs on the shelf. I paid $3.16 OOP, and since there was a line I just did one transaction and was going to be satisfied with $1 RR but it didn't print.

The manager told me it was because I used coupons, which I know is not the case, but said he would take care of it. He tried to ring three bags at a time using the Bugles to generate the RR, and after three attempts he finally gave up and used the Chex, which worked. Clearly it was an issue with their computer. After all of the hassle, I ended up with three $1 RR (I guess he gave me an extra dollar for my trouble) so I paid $0.16 for six bags.

    1. Hi mccoyca - I've clipped a few pictures out of Walgreens ads over time and when a manager makes something up on the fly, I pull out a Walgreens ad that proves them wrong, or I should say educates them on how Walgreens deals work.
