Silk Milk Printable Coupon

There is a new high value Silk coupon available to print.  You'll need to sing in or register to access the coupon.

I don't usually buy non-dairy milk.  Who knows what price Silk usually sells for?

Thanks, Deal Seeking Mom

  1. Silk usually sells for between $3 -$3.50, so a great deal with the $2.00 off coupon. Our family gave up factory farmed milk years ago & switched to soy, almond and coconut based milks so I'm always happy to see great coupons for Silk! (Most regular milk at the store is factory farmed and the conditions that the dairy cows live under is horrible.... not to mention that factory farms add growth hormones, antibiotics, and pollute the environment and are killing the small family farmer. There's even blood mixed into the milk since those poor cows are hooked up 24/7 to the milking machines.)
There are some good companies out there that do not use factory farms. Oberweis Dairy though is not factory farmed, has no antibiotics or growth hormones, so it's a good choice if you need regular milk and eggs.
    Okay.... off my soapbox!

    1. Hi Marina - Thanks for the prices on Silk. I knew someone would have those prices for us.

From all we here in the media, I too had your impression of "farming" in todays world. This fall I got to attend a event sponsored by Missouri Farmers Care. My impression is much different now.

Four Missouri family farmers(third & fourth generation) gave the presentation and all of them talked about growth hormone, anitboitics.... and how expensive it was to use those in their operations. They only used Antibiotics when they had an animal get sick, just like we take our kids to the doctor for medicine if needed. A happy, cared for animal makes them the most money for them.

What we here in the Media about farming does happen with some farm operations. I would imagine that is why the Missouri Farmers Care organization exists. I can't imagine how hard it would be to run a good operation and know others aren't.

The Dairy Farmer sells her milk to Central Dairy in Jeff City. It's too bad we don't know where the products we buy at the store come from.

  2. Moore Food Distributors on Page Ave. between Ashby and 170 is a great place to buy milk, eggs, produce, meat, and other items! They sell Farm Fresh milk from a local dairy to restaurants and schools but have a store front for the public to buy milk and many other items. It is delicious milk and for a great price!! The eggs are so reasonable as well as the produce. I would highly suggest checking them out if you haven't. Much cheaper than Oberweis and the grocery stores and the milk tastes better, too!
