  1. Will the discount work twice on the Kraft purchase 4 products get $2 off instant deal?

    1. Hi Jenna - Maybe or maybe not. You could ask at Customer Service, or just do two back to back transactions. I've never had a problem splitting my shopping order up into two transactions.

  2. The Dean's dip is on sale for $.99. The 1/27 RP has a $1/2 coupon. That would make two free.

    1. KC - Thanks! I'll pick up a couple for my Superbowl lunch at work.

    2. Deans dip was $1.50 at my Dierbergs, not .99.

I used $20 in coupons and paid $18 :) I used 3 $1 Bailey coupons, 2 doubled to $1.66 and one fully doubled to $2 even though all 3 were the same.

    3. I saw Dean's Dip on sale for $.99 at Schnucks, but they were for a size smaller than the coupon indicated.

  3. Does diebergs not have the 3 of the same coupon limit like schnucks does? just looking at the oscar mayer meats and using 4 carving board coupons...

    1. Hmmm! Yes they do have the three like coupon limitation. I hadn't thought of that.

Although, when I have wanted to take advantage of an Instant Savings/Catalina deal and use more coupons than the "rules" allow, I've stopped at Customer Service and told them what I wanted to do and asked if they would allow it. They have in the past, but it wasn't Super Coupons.

  4. I haven't had a problem using 4 of the same cpn at Dierberg's or Schnucks and my Dierbergs is a REALLY pain to shop at with cpns.

  5. really....I'm surprised....at 2 different Schnucks, AND the Deirbergs by me they are real sticklers about it (St. Charles)...before I realized the 3-like rule, casheirs would be counting my coupons, and they would not scan the coupons that were multiple over 3, AND to make it worse, they would not tell me, STILL include the full price item in my sale, AND keep all the coupons...its happened to me a couple of times and I had to go to cust. service after...Then I realized and followed the rules. I'm sure it depends on the cashier too, you can get some that really don't care about the rule and others that will never let more than 3 pass thru....For me, I'd rather just follow the rules and move the other multiples to another shopping trip or store, rather than risk that my transaction does not go smooth at the register...but thats me, because there is nothing worse to me than surprises at the register....lol! This super double is great, because for once there are enough deals at Dierbergs to make a transaction of 15 coupons for me....which allowed me to move out and make room for more in my schnucks plans....Wonderfull :)

  8. There is also another $1 off $1 coupon for the Oscar Meyer Carving Board meats here: http://www.coupons.com/coupons/?pid=15493&nid=10&zid=yn07&plid=ESCRSS3024&crid=GN201211-n3&varb=473&cid=17649170&afsrc=1

It states $1 off 1 carving board pulled pork, but in parentheses it also includes any carving board meats. Would it be possible to use two of the newspaper coupons plus two of the internet ones to be able to get the original deal as stated?

  9. I have a question about using printable coupons at Dierbergs. Their terms state they can be "up to 50% of the purchase price" but I had some problems last time they did super doubles. The cashier went through my stack and handed me back a bunch of $1.00 ones (to use on $2.00 items) saying they couldn't take them. When I got home I noticed that some DID go through (even tho he said the registers wouldn't even scan them). Does "UP TO 50%" include 50%?? Specifically, if something will be $2 can I use a $1 printable for doubles?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Tara - Here is what's on Dierbergs website. It's no the purchase price, but the regular retail price. And that cashier was wrong the register will scan the coupons.

"Internet manufacturer coupons that exceed 50% of the regular retail value of the item will not be accepted."

I've never had a coupon denied because it was over 50% of the regular retail value. But, it all depends on the cashier and the store. If I were you and wanted to use particular coupons, I would stop and ask to speak to the manager before you shopped. Tell them where you printed the coupon from and ask if they will accept them.

  12. Just returned from Dierbergs. For the Kraft deal you have to purchase either Kraft Grocery OR Cheese Products, you cannot mix and match (at least at my store--Brentwood). I bought mayo, cheese and velveta and the $2 did not come off. Luckily I had a great manager that took it off for me.

Also the NY Brand Ciabatta Loaf is not included in the sale

  13. I bought 2 Dole frozen fruit single serve 2pk with for $2 - .75 IP doubled and got a catalina for .75, so .25 for 2 packs! I don't remember where I printed the coupon. Kraft Fresh takes were free after IP, also. I had a $1 coupon out of a magazine (Family Fun maybe) for Johnsville Chicken Sausage, which made it .99. I was so wrapped up in coupons that I completely forgot to pick up the ground turkey on the Thursday ad.

  14. They have Johnsonville chicken sausages for $3.99. I had a bunch of coupons for $1 off 1. I don't like chicken sausage but this kind is mixed with regular pork sausage and they are good with a lot less fat.

$1.99 is a good price for these!

  19. Dierbergs Brentwood will NOT double coupons that say "do not double" -- I was disappointed that many of my bonus coupons (Heluva, Nabisco, Planters) were suppressed!!! These double/triple coupon days always make me love Schnucks and annoyed with Dierbergs.

Also, my Dierbergs (Brentwood) has many shampoo and conditioner "discontinued item" prices -- got free Pert Plus and Garnier Fructis. There were also ones for Clear shampoo, both mens and womens.

    1. Hi Jessi - Yesterday morning, someone asked on Dierbergs Facebook page if they would double coupons that said "do not double." Dierbergs responded right away that they would find out. 7 hours later they responded with this -

"Our normal policy is that coupons marked “not to be doubled” or “do not double” per the manufacturer’s request will be taken at face value. However, during this promotion, they SHOULD double. If you have any questions or troubles, please talk to the manager on duty."

It looks like you should head back to the Brentwood store and talk to the manager.

    2. Hi Jessi...Its Jess (hehe). You know, Dierbergs had alot of great deals, and this time I had no problems, however, the main reason I'm a schnucks shopper is for reasons like this. There are quite a few casheirs at my Dierbergs that scour thru my coupons like I'm trying to do something wrong. They have not let my printables double because they = more than 1/2 the price of the item...however, I thought they could still take it for 1/2 the price....instead they just keep the amt what it is which is not even 1/2 the item price and I have to find when I get home that the doubling was suppressed (I'm talking about regular 0.40 cents and lower). In my eyes, they should tell you and ask you if you still want to purchase the item even though they are not letting your coupon double. If I took the same coupon to schnucks it would double, so I would have wanted the coupon back and not purchased the item. Its almost as if they are trying to find a reason not to take coupons.

That being said...I still go there if its a deal I can't pass up, speaking of...how much was the clear shampoo? I LOVE that shampoo!

  20. Mrs. Cubbison's croutons are on sale for $1 this week and some bags have peelies for $0.55/2. Watch the register, though, because my coupon didn't automatically double. (I didn't notice any "do not double" warnings on it, not that those typically seem to apply at my location anyway.)

Lindt Excellence bars were $2.89, or $0.89 after coupon if you printed the $1 IP from a few weeks ago.

McCormick taco seasoning packets were $0.75 each. There was a $0.50/2 coupon in the 1/26 Red Plum that makes them $0.25 this week.

  24. Learned something new today. I had coupons for everything that I bought today. The total was still over $5 and I wanted to use two $1 Campbell's catalina. The register beeped. The cashier said that I had too many coupons! She told me that I couldn't use more coupons than the number of items, even with the catalina coupons. 10 items, 10 coupons only. I didn't know that they have that coupon policy.
