  1. Thanks so much, I'm going soon! I was going thru my Qs last night and realized that of course the Dec month was short by those 2 weeks of no inserts. Even with less coupons these are great prices. I know its amazing to get free stuff, but for me the triple and super double sales are more about getting a FANTASTIC price on items I use everyday. I'm hoping this is followed by another super double day in the weeks to come! That would be AWESOME :)

    Happy Shopping!

    1. Hi - Yes, we are short coupons right now - especially for food. Those huge inserts at the first of the year had so may personal items in them.

I'm hoping for some good $.50 printables this week.

  4. I found that the battery packs on sale for $4.xx are a good deal with the -0.50 cent Q from 1/6 SS.....they are marked down from $7.xx!

Also, there are packs of Bandaids on sale for 2/$3 ($1.50e)...Free with the 0.50 Q from 1/6 SS

Also, there is some Crest for 2/$3...us the Crest 4.0 (or >) -0.50 Q from this past PG insert (12/30 I think)....makes for Free TP :)

On coupons.com there is a -0.40/3 Campbells condensed "great for cooking" soups...I think this was a better Q than we got in Jan inserts....so I stocked up on some cream of mushroom and chicken soups (cant beleive I was so low in my stock on those! Yeah for cooking at home!)

  5. Currently, Schnucks Consumer Advisory panel has a questionaire for giving feedback on their promos (Including Super Doubles, Triples, Meal Deals & Switch & Save). To register for the Advisory panel go to: https://www.schnuckslistens.com/Portal/default.aspx or https://www.schnuckslistens.com/S.aspx?s=278&r=wwpRfeeAzUyxYn3JdNhV8A&a=356&fromdetect=1
I think it would be great for all the couponers who love Super Doubles & Triples to fill this survey out and let Schnucks know how much we love the coupon promotions!

    1. Thanks for you're updates. There is also a Bisquick coupon on everyday saver - check the listing above for the link.

I buy (2) papers a weekend and usually get another set of inserts from a neighbor. When you could get the Sunday paper for $1, I bought more. If Schnucks & Dierbergs keep up the Triples and Super Doubles, I might think about buying more each week. At least when there are good food coupons.

    2. If you have more than one computer = more prints. I've printed off 2 more of a coupon I really needed at my mom in laws house on her computer...but I explained first that the coupon printer installs on her computer and she was fine with it. Also, if you can find a FREE county journal where you live that has coupons in it, that is an option. When your grocers have the free paper and flyers set up, look and see if any contain coupons...just please leave plenty for other people of course :) If you are confused if its a free paper, check with customer service...they are usually where you enter by the redbox and carts, not ACTUALLY in the store.

When I first started couponing, I would stress and wish I had more of the coupons that make for a really good deal. I see now alot of the SAME ones are put out over and over and over on a cycle. Because of that, I have started to fall into the cycle myself and not stress over it as much when I only have one or two of a real good deal. Also, my stock pile is key...as the years go on, the larger that stock pile gets, the lower I will pay for things, but best of all...missing even a free deodorant or toothpaste deal doesn't bum me out as much anymore. Sorry to get off track, but lately I've had alot of people telling me they will coupon but not stockpile. This is a mistake in the world of savings and couponing. I have a TINY house but got creative with organization and storage (and no, I don't have TP in my kitchen like Honey Boo Boo's mom...lol), if I can stockpile, anyone can!

      Delete
    3. I think people who don't coupon have the wrong idea of what a stockpile is. If they've seen Extreme Couponing or Honey Boo Boo they think couponers are all crazy.

  12. There is usually a SmartSource insert in the Wall Street Journal either Friday or Sat. It doesnt have all of the coupons that the STL insert does but its good for a few extras. You can occasionally get a free subscription from magazine companies on the internet.

    1. I need to watch for that free subscription.
