  1. Not much need for groceries after the past week of triples but we are low on cat food, 3 cases plus $10 of groceries makes an easy $50 trip.

    1. Hi CJ! You've got it down to a science on how to use a $10 off $50. There are some good deals this week, but since I don't have a cat, I don't know if I can put together a $50 trip.

    2. This is my situation too. I have a cat and a dog so they will get special treatment this week since I don't have to buy much for the humans :} Renee

    1. Hi stiffneck - Sorry for leaving out the insert date on Campbell's. I've fixed the problem. Thanks for mentioning it.

  4. There was a coupon in 3/17 SS that was save $2.00 kraft products when you buy chicken. Could be a OK deal with the Kraft instant savings if you need to buy chicken!

  5. Wow a 10 off 50! How long has it been? Guess they are getting jealous! I much prefer shopping at schnucks and dierbergs anyway!

    1. The last $10 off $50 was Feb. 14th and before that Jan 10th, so it looks like they are offering one a month.

I have to say I've gotten some fantastic deals at SNS on $10 off $50 Thursdays, but it's been a long time since I've shopped one. The Super Triple or Double coupons are so much easier to shop.

  6. With SNS 50% printable policy, what happens if I try to use the $.55/1? I am still new and never used coupons at this store before so thanks for the knowledge. Renee

    2. I've never had a problem a the store I shop with IP's more than 50% of the sale price, but some people have had a the store they shop. You would be best to stop at Customer Service and ask to speak to a manger before you shop. Tell them you printed the coupon from coupons.com and ask if you will have any problems using it.

The purpose of the policy is to make the cashier think about high value coupon and if they might be fraudulent. Obviously if you are asking a manager about a particular coupon your not trying to pull any shenanigans.

  7. Isn't the Planter's coupon in the 1/27 SS for nuts, not for peanut butter?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Good question. The coupon states, "$1/1 Planters Jar, Canister, Bag or Multipack (6 - 16 oz., any variety except Almonds)

Since Planters Peanut Butter is in a jar and between 6- 16 oz, it falls within the limits of the coupon.

You should always follow the wording on a coupon and not the picture. The tend to put the most expensive item in the picture when the coupon is good for more than one product or size.

  8. I'm getting an error when I click HERE for the SnS ad. Is there something wrong with the link, or is it operator error?

    Thanks.

I'm so wiped out from extreme couponing at schnucks this week, but my cousin is jealous of the savings, so I'm going to show her some tricks tomorrow. I have a feeling you'll get another avid follower!

    1. Hi Shannon - Not an operator error. I fixed the link - it now just goes to SNS home page and everyone can link to the current ad.

I'm wiped out too. I posed the question on Coupon STL's facebook page if anyone else felt like it was the day after Christmas. The house (coupons) are a mess, you have to deal with the leftover(stockpile) and you have no energy to do anything. Yep, Super Coupons is just like Christmas.

I hope your cousin has fun couponing.

  9. Shannon, are you putting me on blast?! LOL! I'm waaaay to lazy to do this all the time, but if I need it or want it and it's convenient, I'm always up to save some money :)

After you realize that you've spending WAAAY too much money, you'll go coupon crazy too. I can't pay full price for anything anymore.

Jeri here at couponstl makes it easy and convenient for lazy bums like me and you to do this.

  10. Jerri,
There are printable SNS coupons on their website. Look at their ads and there are some 6 in store coupons. Plus, on one of the other circulars, cream cheese will be 2 for $1, butter $1.79,and siroloin roast $2.69/lb :)

    1. Thanks, Chrissy! I saw those coupon in this morning paper and completelty forgot about them. I'm wiped out after Super Triple Coupons.

Which store's ad are you looking at? I'm seeing Essential Cream Cheese for $0.79 and Sirloin roast for $2.99 at one of the stores in the City.

  11. If anyone price checks, I'd love to know what the price at ShopNsave is on canned Alpo and morningstar farms. Thanks in advance:)

  12. I purchased 3 Cottonelle which triggered a $3 cat. Did this twice and rolled the cat...worked fine. Makes for even cheaper TP! Also the Keebler crackers had peelies on them for free eggs wyb 2 boxes of crackers.

Per my receipt, the Kraft discount came off the coffee and only one of the Capri Sun. Not in the ad, but apparently the coffe is part of the instant savings. That could have changed my scenario, but now I know :)

    1. Hi Andrea - I sure wish they would list all products in the Instant Savings deals. I don't know why that would be such a hard thing to do. Oh, well.

  14. I was going to mention to check your IP stash for the $.30 Capri Sun coupon also.

By the way, did you mean *Go* on your Country Time listing?
