What does your note mean on some of your items listed? the *more than 50%?
ReplyDeleteHi Elvira - Dierbergs coupon policy states, " Internet manufacturer coupons that exceed 50% of the regular retail value of the item will not be accepted."
DeleteSince I don't have the regular retail price of the items, I mention the policy. You can check the sale tag and find how much you save with the sale and compute the regular price.
Although, I've never had a problem using high value printable coupons at Dierbergs - but some cashier/stores are much pickier.
If you have a coupon the doesn't fall within the "rules", you can always ask to speak to a manager (before you shop)and ask them if they will accept the coupon. If you tell them where the coupon came from, such as the manufacturer's Facebook page" chances are they will ok it.
Does the Kraft Catalina stack...in other words, can I do the deal twice in one transaction and get two instant savings and two Catalinas or do I need to split the transaction? Thanks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Just got back from Dierbergs. For $4.74 I got 4 Oscar Mayer Bologna, 2 Ore Ida fries, and 1 Ore Ida Grillers. I am fairly new to couponing so I still feel funny about doing more than one transaction. I went in and got the bologna and then went back for the fries. I figure it only takes a few minutes longer and it keeps everyone happy. Renee

ReplyDeleteYes, the only limit of like coupons is if they are printable. It has happened where cashier think the limit of 3 like is on all coupons, but the policy is not stated that way.

A cashier at the Wentzville store would not take the Ore Ida grillers coupon because it was a free item. Does anyone know their policy for using coupons against a free item? Thx!

Delete"Coupons cannot be applied against the item received in any offer where a customer buys one or more items to get one or more items free."
It looks like your cashier was correct. I apologize for listing the deal like I did.
I'm not sure why retailers would not permit a coupon on a free item because from the way I understand it, they would still get reimbursed for the coupon.
