ReplyDeleteI am a non-dairy milk buyer as well. In the past, I have not had such a great track record with getting those free milk with (x) purchase to work on non-dairy types (mostly, I think, because the promotion is paid for by the dairy industry/associated group). One time I showed the ad to the cashier, who was skeptical, asked another cashier, called over a manager, the three of them discussed it, and decided the ad didn't specify what type of milk, so they over-rode it and made my non-dairy milk free. It took so long that time and the few other times I've tried, it never automatically came off and I just said to forget it. I think I might ask at customer service first, although I'd expect a no. Good luck and let us know how it turns out! mk
DeleteOh, and a lot of times those free milk promos are $x off a GALLON of milk, so that excludes the non-dairy from the get-go (I've never seen bigger than 1/2 gallon in 15 years of buying non-dairy)! mk
DeleteThat's been my experience in the past too! But I thought that maybe since the ad didn't specify dairy milk, that perhaps Dierbergs had changed over to make it more inclusive for the non-dairy drinkers:) I'll ask tomorrow at customer service and report back!
DeleteGood news! The $3.50 off milk WYB 5 pillsbury works for non-dairy milks like silk, almond breeze, 8th continent etc....
DeleteI asked first and the manager said it should work , so I tried it. At check out, the register automatically deducted the $3.50, no fuss or adjustments! So I got 6 pillsbury and 2 1/2 gallons of Almond Breeze, used 3-MC for $0.50/2 pillsbury and 2-MC for $.55/1 Almond Breeze and my grand total for all 8 products was only $4.26. Made me very happy:)
I just got home from Dierbergs and had a few things to share... The Dole Smoothie shakers are 1.67 and there are several $ .75 coupons out there. There is a catalina for $1 when you buy three. There is also a catalina for $.75 wyb 4 Dole Squishems, Crisps, gels and I think another product which will then double if you spend it this week. I believe there are also catalinas going on Dole Mandarin Oranges and Tropical fruit as well, but we don't usually eat those. You can check those out at couponnetwork.com

Betty Crocker cake mixes are $1.50 and I believe they're included in the $ .75/2 printable. (It's sad when $ .75 is a good price for a cake mix but they have been expensive lately)
I also found a whole bunch of really cheap yogurt (greek and organic) in the reduce price dairy bin... yay! Seems like there haven't been many deals on yogurt lately and my family of 7 can go through a lot of yogurt even if it will expire in a few days.
Where are the Dole Smoothie shakers located in the store. I tried finding them last time with no luck...
