Dierbergs Deals 2/17/09 - 2/22/09

The highlight of Dierbergs ad this week is their meat and seafood sale. Purchase 5 specially marked packages of meat or seafood for $19.95. You have to purchase at least 5 packages to get the special pricing. If you purchase more than five, each additional package will ring up at the sale price.

Dierberg's periodically runs this type of meat/seafood sale. I can never figure out just how good a deal it is until I take a look at the individual packages. From my past experience, some packages are a great deal - others are not a sale at all.

The best part of this sale is Dierbergs puts all of the meat/seafood packages in one refrigerated case with a little freezer on the side. You don't have to search through the meat department to find the sale packages. You just have to elbow your way close to the case. Shoppers tend to linger a long time before they decide on what to purchase. I do that, too.
