  1. Hi - Is the BBQ sauce on sale? $1 each?

  2. Yes! Sorry if I didn't make that clear in my post.

  4. Thanks, Jeri! I just bought 6 bottles with 4 - $1 Qs and 2 - $0.75 Qs, and go a $3 catalina Q. I will be donating the sauce, and Schnucks just paid me to do it! :-)

Oh, and a follow-up to my previous post about Schnucks taking the SNS catalinas... I asked about catalinas from other stores, and as long as it says manufacturers coupon on the top, they will take it. I used a $0.75 KMart, $8 Walgreens (fish oil), $6 Walgreens (soft sheen) and $2 Walgreens (colgate), in addition to the other manufacturers Qs I had!

  5. Staci,

I was so excited about the $1 coupon on Kraft BBQ I didn't even think of the .75 ones. I love this deal.

My head is realing with the news that Schnucks will accept RR from Walgreens. (Unless you're Tipster and this only works at Twin Oaks.)

I'm thinking - No more fillers, no more counting coupons, and all other hassles of shopping at Walgreens. On my way to Schnucks I can stop in at Walgreens purchase the free after RR items and take the RR to Schnucks to pay for my groceries. Cool!

  6. Nope, I'm not tipster. ;-) I'm the Overland Plaza Shopper. Yeah, the logistics of Walgreens is almost enough to make my head spin. Now I just need to ask if they take them at SNS, too! We can just keep rolling them from one store to the next, no more counting coupons, and no more worry about them expiring! Woo hoo!

  7. I'm still curious about the Twin Oaks store taking the SNS thursday coupons. Last time I went to that store was last summer. I was very pregnant and had my three other little ones with me. Made a special trip and everything. The cashier declined my SNS coupon and said they'd stopped taking them; I requested a manager. Really, I'm at the checkout with a ton of stuff, very pregnant with three kids (under age 5). He came, told me they stopped taking them. Really? Do you see that I came to the store just for this? He let me know that "just this once" they would accept it but not again! Because he acted like I was trying to steal from them, that was my last time there. But, if the are doing SNS and WG's RR....

  8. Lab - I talked to the Twin Oaks store on May 6th and they confirmed over the phone they would match SNS $10 off $50. You do need to take the advertisement out the the SNS ad with you to give to the cashier.

From what others are telling me, SNS has a new store, almost in Schnucks parking lot, and that is why Twin Oaks is matching SNS deal.

I haven't tried to use RR or other store Catalinas at Schnucks yet. Staci has had success with this at the Overland Plaza store. I'm going to ask Customer Service at the store I shop at before I use them. It could be a store by store situation.

  9. Jeri - your blog is helping me to save lots of grocery money - my family thanks you!

I've heard other couponers talk about using the walgreen's catalinas at their grocery stores but nothing specific to Schnucks. Here's hoping you get a positive answer!

  10. Tipster - I'm glad I can help, but even if you use your first name, you'll always be Tipster to me.

  11. Jeri can you start a blog post about the Walgreens RR's? Hopefully we can get feed back from others where they have had success in using them? I called my local Schnucks and SnS and both said they wouldnt let me use them :( I am wondering if I bring them in and ask them if they would be more positive...seeing the manufactor's coupon on the top. The only thing is they do say something to the effect of use at Walgreens on the side.

    Thanks!

  12. Jennifer - The RR post is on my to do list. I asked at several Schnucks yesterday. They said no on dollar off next purchase.

I've emailed a couple of other readers to find out their expeiences before I post. I'll try to get a post up this weekend.
