Remember:

  1. Count the number of items you have and the number of coupons you are using. (A register reward is considered a coupon but an in-ad coupon isn't.) The register will not accept more coupons than items you're purchasing. Purchase fillers as needed.
  2. Always give the cashier your coupons in groups, first Register Rewards, then manufacturer's coupons, and then Walgreens' coupons.
  3. Only one Register Reward will print per offer per transaction. Split your items into several transaction if you want to earn Register Rewards on each of them. Example: This week if you want to buy more than one Colgate and get Register Rewards for each of them, they have to be in separate transactions.
  4. If you use a Register Reward for the same brand of products, you will not receive another Register Reward. If you use a Register Reward for a different brand of product, you will receive a Register Reward.
  5. Ask for a rain check if the store is out of a sale item. They don't expire and you can use them at any Walgreens.
  6. You can use a Walgreens' coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item. Read about Walgreens' Coupon policy.

  2. David, Sorry I didn't explain this very well.

All three of this week's free after Register Reward products are from different companies. You can use a Register Reward when you purchase a different product and get another Register Reward with these three.

Example: Use a Right Guard Register Reward when purchasing Colgate and receive the Colgate Register Reward. But if you use a Right Guard Register Reward to purchase another Right Guard you will not receive another Register Reward.

If you want to purchase the P&G deal twice, you can not use the P&G Register Reward on more P&G products and get a second Register Reward.

This would be the same with the monthly Register Rewards. Both of the monthly Register Rewards' products are from Bayer.

Please ask if you still have questions.

  5. I don't know of a published coupon policy for Walgreens.

I emailed Walgreen a few months ago and asked every question I could think of. They were very quick to get back to me and answered all my questions. I carry a copy of that email with me every time I walk into Walgreens.

I link to that post with the reminders I put with every new Walgreens post. I would suggest you also email Walgreens about their coupon policy and have your own personalized copy of the answers.
