Coupon Preview - Kellogg's Cereal, Macaroni Grill, Bounty + More

Sunday's 6/7/09 , St Louis Post Dispatch has Three coupon inserts -Redplum, SmartSource and P&G.

I love coupons for new products, and there are several this week. Companies launch new products by offering coupons and special pricing. This makes for great deals on new items.

Some of my favorite coupons this week:
  • $5 Miracle Cream - I hope Walgreens puts this on sale
  • $2 Bic Disposable Razors
  • $2 Gillette Clinical Strength Deodorant - new product
  • $1.50 Hot Shot bug killer - perfect for the wasp nest on the front porch
  • $1.25 Dove Visibly Smooth - new product
  • $1 Kellogg's Mini Wheats, Rice Krispies or Crispix
  • $1 Kellogg's All-Bran, Special K or Raisin Bran
  • $1 Kellogg's sugar cereals
  • $1 Tyson Skillet Creations Meal Kit - new product
  • $1 Macaroni Grill Dinner Kit - a family favorite
  • $1 Colgate Total - always a chance to be a money-maker at Walgreens
  • $1 off 2 BOCA Meatless products - some people think all coupons are for junk food
  • $1 any Playtex Gentle Glide
  • $1 Playtex Sport
  • .25 Bounty - Dierbergs puts single roll of Bounty on sale for $1 or less often
Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price. When it's good coupon insert week, I purchase 4 or 5 papers and sometimes acquire more. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my $1 investment.

DEAL$ sells the Sunday Post Dispatch for $1. The early edition is published on Saturday and it includes all the coupon inserts. They usually have the Sunday paper left around on Monday also. Find the DEAL$ closest to you here.

  1. Interesting how the coupons in KC are different from St. Louis. They had 1.50 off Kellogs cereal versus 1.00 in the STL paper. Do you have any suggestions for those of us in MidMo on how to get newspapers that don't cost 1.50 or 2.00?

  2. Interesting that KC has a $1.50 Kellogg's coupon. Do they always get better coupons than St Louis? (The KC paper probalby has more to read also)

Have you tried your dollar stores to see if they sell the Sunday newspapers at a better price. I buy the Post Dispatch for $1 at DEAL$, but I think some of the other dollar stores also sell them for $1 here in STL.

Anyone else in MidMo reading? Where do you buy your papers?
