I ended up under budget for the week. It was just too hot this week for me to even think about food or shopping. Even a $1 money-maker on toothpaste couldn't lure me to Walgreens.

Great job! Have you had the Bar-S bacon before? I bought 4 packs, I sure hope its good!!
ReplyDeleteI am just wondering the size of yor family? End of having been following you for about 8 weeks and I think you are doing well. I am achieving about 65% to 70% savings. I have found the difference and I have a concern. I do not see many fruits/vegetables in your purchases. How do you compensate for the lack of such important items in your diet? Dairy also such as yogurt. I am just wondering.

Mrs. Fisher - Thanks for the link on your site.
ReplyDeleteLisa - Bar S Bacon not bad for the price. I usually use it in a salad on on BLT's.
Anonymous - There are 4 in my family, myself, husband and two teenage boys. My purchases don't totally reflect what we eat. We are still finishing off the frozen veggies I got for FREE this last winter. And for yougut, we don't eat it. Most of our dairy comes from milk and cheese. Thanks for your concern, but we do eat healthier than it looks at times.
