Dierbergs Deals: 7/18/09 - 8/2/09

Dierbergs had "Bonus Packs" in their ad this week. Before I learned how much I could save using coupons, I would have thought these were a great deal. Now, I know better. It is almost always best to use a coupon on the smallest sized package the coupon will allow. You will pay less per serving/use than when you use your coupon on the supersized package.

Also, this week Dierbergs has Macaroni Gill Dinner Kits on sale. I love these dinner kits. I have the last one in my pantry on this weeks menu plan, so it is great timing these are on sale again. But, I'm not going to run right out and pick some up. It has been a long time since Shop 'n Save has had a Betty Crocker Catalina deal (Macaroni is a Betty Crocker product), and I'm playing the waiting game. Shop 'n Save's new ad will come out on Monday, this Dierbergs ad is still in effect on Monday and if I'm really lucky, Shop 'n Save will have a Catalina good for these dinner kits - if not I'll be heading to Dierbergs on Monday.
