Menu Plan Monday - Week of 8/31
We are taking our oldest to college this week, so we will be out of town a few days - this makes for easy meal planning. My parents are halfway to my son's college. We will be stopping to eat dinner with them; it will be nice to have Mom's cooking!
Monday: Dinner Out - Good-bye dinner (for us), celebration dinner (for him)
Tuesday: Out of town - dinner at my parents
Wednesday: Out of town - road food
Thursday: BLT's, Chips, fresh fruit (We didn't do these last week because I ended up with more leftovers than expected.)
Friday: Chicken Alfredo with Linguine (Macaroni Grill Kit), green salad, garlic bread
Saturday: Hamburgers, chips, fresh fruit
Sunday: Pork tenderloin, baked potatoes, grilled veggies, fruit

I do love those Macaroni Grill kits! Yum! I love the restaurant even more, but we rarely go out to eat anymore.

Stop by and see me over at Free2BeFrugal!
Good luck with the college drop-off. I took my #3 child off to Kirksville (Truman State) last weekend. :-)
ReplyDeleteNiki - I love Macaroni Grill kits too. I would have never bought them before couponing. I would have thought they were way to expensive, but now on sale, with a coupon, and a Catalina deal they are almost FREE.
ReplyDeleteKelly - Is #3 the last one or do you have more to go.? My husband and I are looking forward to being empty nesters someday. Our youngest just started high school so we have a few more years.
Jeri--I have 2 more to go, lol! #4 & #5 are now in 7th and 6th grade. #1 has graduated from college and works/lives in San Fransisco. #2 is doing her student teaching at UMSL; she'll be done w/college in Dec. So I have a few more years too until the nest is empty! :-)
ReplyDeleteKelly - Oh my,five! My neighbor is pregnat with #5 and I just shake my head. Two kids have sapped all my brain cells out of my head. I would be a vegeatble with five.:)
