If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been a while:1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons.

  1. Much much thanks,Ms. Jeri! And that's a good price for it also because at SNS 10oz bag Popeye Fresh spinach is usually priced at $2 and if I remember right, it hasn't been priced lower than that. Dierberg's has 9oz bag for $1 or $1.50 a few times but every time we get there, they're usually all gone and all we can get is a rain check for it.

  2. My mom lives in S. Co like me (not in LeMay). She received a separate Aldi ad last week with a $5 off a $25 purchase at the newly redone LeMay store. I believe the coupon is Oct 1-10 (not 100% sure on the date). I was hoping I would get one (since I live so close to her). I did not. Have you seen this? I would love to use to check out the new store.

  3. coupon.girl - I knew you would be happy went I spotted the spinach. No one but me in our house will touch spinach, so it isn't something I buy, but I figured it would be a good price.

Lisa - I hadn't seen or heard about the coupon. I drove by the Lemay store a rescently and I thought it looked like it should be open soon. It looks like it will be huge. I'm in the city and the Aldi's are much smaller than the newer county stores.
