  1. For those w/cats--3oz. Whiskas Temptations cat treats are $1.49. Use $1/1 from 9/13 RP and get them for .49.

  2. An alternate buy for the Old El Paso Taco Seasoning are the Ortega packs, also on sale 3/$2 right now.

    B2 $1.33 - .75 (SS 9/13/09) = $.58/2

  3. Van de Kamps and Mrs Pauls frozen breaded fish are both on sale for $3.99. If you have the $3 IP for either of them from SmartSource, they are only .99 after coupon.

  4. I purchased 6 pks of Ortega Taco seasoning and received a 3 dollar catalina towards meat. I'm not sure how long it lasts and I haven't hear of it, but it was a great treat! - Trish

  5. I did this deal yesterday, Coupon Thursday: At ShopnSave (& be on the lookout for peelies)..."Between 9/11/09 & 10/04/09, Catalina Coupon Save a $1 on your next beef or chicken purchase when you buy any 3 pkgs of OLD EL PASO taco shells, dinner kits, seasoning, refried beans or heat & serve side dishes. Save $3 on your next beef or chicken purchase when you buy any 6 pkgs." --- I wonder if this is also a deal at Schnucks and if this is similar with the Ortega Taco seasoning deal there. If this is and if I find the Better at Home coupon booklet, buying 6 pks of seasoning would be a money maker there. As Trish said, a great treat!:)

  6. CJ - This is a great deal. Do you know if the $3 coupon are available still?

Trish - Thanks for the info. Oh, how I wish Schnucks would advertise their Catalina deals. I've tried to get info from Customer Service and there corporate help line abotu Catalinas before and they have almost no information. This is interesting that Ortega has a Cat at Schnucks and Old El Paso does at SNS.

coupon.girl - Thanks for the info. I'm hoping SNS has these on sale next week. I just sent you email.

  7. Jeri - I don't think the Mrs Pauls and Van de Kamps coupons are still available. I printed mine off SmartSource.com last month and the expiration date was 9/19/09 so I used mine just in time.

  8. I bought 6 Ortega Taco Seasoning packets this morning, used 3 - .75/2 coupons, but no Catalina. No signage about this obviously, but thought I would give it a try anyway. This was at Hampton Schnucks.

  9. em - I wonder if Trish meant Old El Paso instead of Ortega. I know Old El Paso has Cats going on right now at other stores.

  10. It's possible. I think I will wait until the next time I go to SnS, as I am already testing the limits of "how much taco seasoning does one household need?"

  11. I'm still at the point of "how much taco seasoing.." and I havent' bought any since Cinco de Mayo. I keep trying to think of a ways to use it for something other than tacos.
