Saved 78% This Week

I've been trying to stay under my $50 budget since my oldest son left for college, but this week there were some great sales I couldn't pass up. I'm glad I didn't go much over $50 this week.

Shop 'n Save

I started with a $3 Catalina and now have a $10 Catalina for next week. For the second week in a row, my Catalina coupon didn't print at the register. I've gotten to know the Customer Service employees better than I had ever planned to.

I bought things that weren't on my list at Dierbergs this week. I usually don't to that, but I got caught up in the frenzied atmosphere of the 15-hour sale. The meat department employees were just opening the boxes of Zia's and Bob Evans, and just dumping them into the refrigerator case.

Every week, I think I'm out of freezer space, but it's amazing the magic my husband can do to find just a little more space. Especially for ice cream.
