When I was shopping at Target yesterday, I ran into another couponer picking up Air Wick I-Motions. She was concerned Target wouldn't accept her coupon because it was more than the price of the product.From Targets coupon policy, "Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied." I printed a copy of the policy and take it with me to Target. Sometimes, cashiers need to be reminded of what it says. I've never had a cashier reduce the amount of the coupon, although they should. Make sure you have other items to cover any overage; cashiers tend to freak out when the register comes up negative.
Remember when shopping at Target: You can use a manufacturer and Target issued coupon on the same product.

A couple of price differences I noticed at the Brentwood store:

Chef Michael's Dry Dog Food is $4.26. (Saw it from a distance, so I'm not sure when the price is valid until.)

ReplyDeleteI've seen Chex Mix prices on other blogs anywhere from $1.75 to $2.01. You can price match using a Wags ad, it's $1.50 this week. At my Target the customer service area is past the registers so you have to buy it at Target's price at the register and then get a refund from customer service. Not quite worth the effort if the difference is only .25 per bag.

ReplyDeleteI just got the air wick i motion for $4.99. I used my $6 coupon it beeped the cashier accepted it. I purchased 2. I realized it after I checked out because my trip was cheaper than expected. This is a Jefferson City Target and it was actually marked $7.99 not $6 or $4.99.
