Anyone know if you can use RR to buy an Entertainment Book?
ReplyDeleteem - We think alike. I'm planning on trading in RRs for SNS coupon in the Entertainment Book tomorrow. I cant think of any reason why you can't use RR to purchase them.
ReplyDeleteI was goint to post about using RR to purchase the book, but if you're questioning if it's possible it won't work, I had better wait until I see how it goes.
I hope it works, just think maybe it would fall into the "gift card" category.
ReplyDeleteI also have wondered if you could buy an Entertainment Book at Shop n Save during the $10 off of $50.
Forgot to mention I got my free Herbal Essences coupon in the mail today. So I'm guessing with that coup, the B1G1, the November coupon book coupon and the RR, that would make this a $3 MM! Or at least a $2 if they don't let you use the $1 coup because of overage.
ReplyDeleteem - I bet kas could answer the question if you could buy Entertainment books on SNS $10 off $50. kas????
ReplyDeleteI got my Herbal Essence coupon in the mail too. I'm debating using it at Wags or holding on to it to use at SNS $10 off $50. If you can use it this week at Wags I think depends on the cashier. I think it will go through the register without beeping.
Hmm.. you have a point Jeri. Now that I've thought about it some more, I think the best scenario would be to save the free coup for SnS and do the following at Walgreens:
ReplyDeleteUse $1 off (on mailer), B1G1, $1 Walgreens and get $2RR. $1.50 OOP and .50 MM.
No buying the Entertainment Book during $10 off $50 Thursday and getting a good deal. Since you got to buy the book at customer service and only there, it's a no go. But, depending on the friendliness of the person at the customer service counter, sometime one can use mulipty cats. Can't use all cats, given each cat rang also has tax taken off the balance.
ReplyDeleteNow for the exciting news. How about really cheap 48 oz. Breyer Ice Cream on Thursday. Upcoming is a B$30 and receive a $15 cat.
B10 $29.98 * .8 = $24.00 - (.75 MQ * 10) = $16.50
$16.50 - 15 = $1.50 plus tax for 10
Figure a quarter per container.
Last year when I bought the Entertainment book at SNS, the customer service desk told me to just tell the cashier I wanted one when I checked out with my other purchases. The cashier got me one and it was added to my total. I dont remember if it was a $10 off day or not.
ReplyDeleteI bought an Entertainment book at Walgreens yesterday with my RR. I traded my money-making deals for SNS coupons.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm excited about Breyers this week at SNS. I wish I had space for ten cartons.
How much was the Entertainment Book at Walgreens?
ReplyDeleteem - I just posted about trading my RR for SNS coupons. The book was $25 after the in-ad coupon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeri.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Walgreens. You can also use the $1 Gillette Deodorant coupon with the B1G1 from 11/1 PG. Makes it .50 per item, rather than $1.
em - I didn't know if you could use a B1G1 and another coupon at Walgreens. Thanks
ReplyDeleteIt probably depends on the cashier, but the register allows it without beeping. Did the same for the Herbal Essences.
