Saved 84% This Week

Thank goodness the grocery stores all had two-week ads. There were so many good deals I couldn't fit them all into this week's budget. I was able to stock up on crackers, veggies, brownie mix, cream soup, cranberry sauce and batteries, and won't have to buy any of them for a long time.

Shop 'n Save
It was another great week, even without a Catalina deal to roll. I only shop at Shop 'n Save on a Thursday $10 off $50, and now that I have $5 off $50 coupons from the Entertainment book, I'm saving 30% walking in the door. Lisa, at My Grocery Plan, emailed me her Shop 'n Save pictures this week. Check out her shopping trip HERE. Thanks for sharing, Lisa!

Schnucks

Not included in my picture is the 5 pounds of ground chuck my husband picked up at Culinaria on his way home from work. (I only asked for 4 pounds.) The Green Works laundry detergent purchase triggered a $3 off your next bottle and a $3 off your next order coupon.

I finally found a store with Lubriderm in stock. There is nothing better than a money-making deal when Entertainment Books (with Shop 'n Save coupon) are on sale.

  1. Jeri - Glad you finally found some Lubriderm! I think I may finally be done w/15 bottles, unless I can find some in stock at $3.79, since I only have 1 $2 Q left. Oh, and I now know to steer clear of the Wags at Brown and the Rock Road. Their sales tax does not calculate correctly at that store.

  2. Staci- My in-laws live right by that Wags and I went there once to get in on some cereal deal they were having. I was buying 3 boxes and had 3 $1 coupons. They refused to expect 3 coupons and told me I could only use one. I was ridicilous and I haven't been back to that store since!

  3. It's a nice store, but I definitely don't appreciate being taxed more than I am supposed to be. The lady at the cosmetics counter didn't want to manually enter my Qs that weren't scanning, so I thought I was going to have to do a total void, but she went ahead and pushed them through. I think I'm done there as well. Can't say as I blame you, Lisa!

  4. Staci & Lisa - From talking to a couple of Wags managers I've gotten to know, the stores/managers are evaluated on customer feed back. I doubt Wags Corp. reads blogs and forum. They would find out what customers really think of individual stores if they did.

I'm like you where I don't go back to a store that is difficult to deal with, but I should contact Wags Corp. when I've had problems.
