Schnucks - 49 Cent Eggs

Schnucks had an ad in the Post Dispatch this week advertising:

Schnucks Grade A Larger Eggs - 49 cents. Limit 2 per order with additional $10 purchase.
Price good through November 8th at Metro St Louis Stores only.

If you are outside of the St Louis Metro area, check at your local store. I don't know if this deal is only for the Metro area or if the disclosure I'm reading is always printed in my local ad. Let me know.

  1. I was at Schnucks yesterday and I could not believe that they had a dozen large eggs for .49 cents. They even had a peelie for .75 cents off the eggs if you buy a betty crocker cookie pouch with it. I don't know how they would be able to take .75 cents off of .49 cent eggs but whatever! I am in the Alton/Godfrey IL area.

  2. 49 cents for eggs! Awesome! Now if we could just get them to double coupons higher than 40 cents... :)

  3. I was excited to see this deal and I don't use many eggs and don't need any.

Finally, Schnucks advertised something that makes me want to shop there. So many of their best deals are unadvertised Catalinas or buried in their ad.

  4. I was just there and the peelie really isn't very good. The betty crocker cookies are not on sale this week. However, it doesn't expire until 1/23/01. I'll save it and see if can ever be combined for a good deal!

  5. Going through the U-scan line with a questionable MQ might help with an overage MQ. If the coupon beeps, sometime the employee riding herd over all the U-Scans will manually enter the MQ on his or her register.

  6. I've purchased quite a few .85 Cascadian Farms individual granola bars at Schnucks with a $1 coupon and they have always gone right through. I've never had a problem with overage on a coupon at Schnucks.

But, recentlty the cashiers at U-Scan have looked at evey one of my coupons with a fine tooth comb.

  7. I always have trouble with my coups when using the self scanner. Its usually quicker for me to go through the regular check out line. The scanner machine yelled at me yesterday just because I laid my glasses down on top of one of my purchases.

  8. CJ - LOL! I have to take my glasses off to read really fine print, then I can't find where I layed them down. I need that machine here at my house.
