Cheap Rimmel Lip Gloss at WalgreensRimmel Eye and Lip Cosmetics are 50% off this week at Walgreens and Walgreens has some Rimmel items on clearance. Combine the sale with the Rimmel $1 coupon in last Sunday's paper for a great deal.
Here is what I found at the Walgreens I shop:
Rimmel Lip Gloss $3.19 (clearance price)
50% savings -$1.59
Rimmel coupon from 12/13/09 RP -$1
Final price: .60 each
I asked a cashier to check and see if a clearance item was ringing up at half off and it wasn't, but she told me they would adjust the price for the sale. This is defiantly a time you want to check out at the cosmetic counter. If they have to adjust the price of your product, it will be a lot easier there.
Note: The 50% off sale is good on Rimmel Lip and Eye cosmetics and the coupon is good on any Rimmel product. Check your store to see if they might have any eye cosmetics on clearance also.

ReplyDeleteI might have pushed the issue just for the principle. I know your cashier or manager does not code the computer for sales, but they are the only ones who can provide feedback to the advertsing department of what is not working.
ReplyDeleteThe ad doesn't have any exlcusions - it doen't say 50% off regular price or exclude clearance items. So, I think they should honor the advertisemnet unless they had posted a sign that states the advertisement is incorrect with the clarifications of what was really on sale. ( I see these every week at SNS.)
Besides, fasle advertising is a Class A misdemeanor in the state of Missouri.
