Other Grocery Stores in St Louis

Here is what I see as the best "cherry picking" items at the other grocery stores in town. I don't include all the match-ups, but only items you might want to pick up, if one of these stores is convenient to your location.

If you see items I missed, or if you know of great deals at stores I haven't listed, please leave the information in the comments section.

Click on the store name for more information - location, hours, current ad.

  2. Thanks, kas! Alps has some really good prices. I've never been in an Alps store before. Can you give us some additional insight on what they are like.

  3. The store up in Florissant was a Save-a-Lot for awhile and orginally a TomBoy. Extra remodeling work was done on it, while the Grand store kind of screams 'low rent'. Not much selections on produce, the meat is all pre-packaged and too many items are pricer then Aldi or Save-a-Lot. While there are a few brand name items, most products come from companies that I've never came across before.

Now a couple trade union(s) members were doing an informational picket, while they mainly sat in lawn chairs. At least the business near Lemay Ferry and Reavis Barracks got the 'Rat' when it picketed last summer. Finally, I notice a few individuals just hanging around the other night when I picked up an ad at the Grand store. Probably keeping out of the cold, except I had just came from Aldi and some clown bolted out the dooe after stealing hotdog and bread.

  4. Hi kas,

I drive by the store on Grand often and have never ventured in - even when it was a National. I doesn't look like a place I would want to shop.
