ReplyDeleteI think a lot of these are manufacturers coupons also.

You can get the Wholly Salsa there for free. And the Guac for $1, with the $1 off Qs. They are in the produce section.
ReplyDeleteI buy multiples and freeze them.
Andrea - You're welcome. Do you have any insight to share with us who haven't shopped there before.
ReplyDeleteJames - Yes, some of them are. The first list is the coupons good at any store.
Tisha - Woo Hoo! I love Wholly Salsa. I was wanting to check Save A Lot out, now I'm heading there for sure. The $1 Wholly Coupon is in 1/3/10 SS.
Before I started couponing, we did 95% of our grocery shopping at SAL. I wouldn't touch name brand items there w/o coupons though. Most of the time they are higher priced than other stores. (Of course, there are always exceptions like the Wholly Salsa)
ReplyDeleteI have never had issues using coupons there, but I haven't used many. When my boys were little, I purchased the Beechnut baby food there. Always the best price and for awhile I could get the baby cereal for .20 a box w/ a new peelie attached.
We still buy milk and bread there regularly. The bread is 1.19 a loaf and 1 gallon skim milk is $2.49.
I have tried other bread and we really like theirs...
Thanks Andrea for the insight. I'm going to have to try the bread. I've been getting ours at Aldi and it's ok at best.
ReplyDeleteToday at the Affton store, I found a $1.00 off milk when you buy any Sara Lee Bread. The gal. of 2% is $2.49 and the loaf of Honey Wheat cost $1.99
