If you buy 6 Helpers, would you get $3 off instantly on meat? Since it says, Buy 2 get $1 off instantly on meat. :I
ReplyDeleteJeri,
ReplyDeleteIf you buy 3 aren't you getting the HH for free or am I not thinking straight. $3 minus $.75 = $2.25 OOP and you get $1.50 cat plus $1.00 off meat - sort of a $.25mm. Does deli meat and/or chicken count as meat?
Thanks!
Maureen
Maureen - you're right! My 3 HH were a .25 mm after the coups and catalinas. Thanks, now I feel even better better buying them! If I can find another .75 coup I may do the deal again. I wasnt sure what counted as "meat" so just got ground beef.
ReplyDeletecoupon.girl - I'm not sure if the instant $1 savings on meat is limited to the first 2 HHs or if it's for each 2 HHs.
Thanks Maureen - I don't know what I was thinking. But I obviously was trying to complicate the situation. I'll edit my post, so I don't confuse everyone else.
ReplyDeleteI would think deli meat would be considered meat. But it is probably best to ask at Customer Service before you planned on it counting as meat.
Good news - I bought 6 HH. It shows up weird on the receipt - I wasn't charged anything for one and one was negative $1 - basically I was charged $3 for 6 boxes less $1.50 in coupons = $1.50 OOP. It also printed a $2.50 Cat for next purchase - Yeah $1MM! I bought stew meat but I'm not sure if you really even need to buy the meat. I love the great deals on the margarines and spreads!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
The $1 discount gets taken off automatically after the first HH is scanned, so you could probably skip the meat and still get it. I bought 3 more today. The cashier somehow didn't scan my $1.50 catalina from yesterday, and then my new $1.50 catalina didn't print because the machine had run out of paper. So I got $3 back in cash for the 2 catalinas.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Hambuer Helper user, but this deal makes me think I should buy them. I could always use the pasta from the box.
ReplyDeleteJeri - I hadnt bought HH in years but they have so many new varities for chicken and tuna, you might like those. And you can always donate them to a food pantry. Using just the pasta is great idea.
ReplyDeleteI went last night and did wonderful. Got the adjustments on my HH and the 2.50 Cat. Also, they had some meat prices at 40% off. The Ground chuck was 1.99 lb. So, I used my Cat for that. I love .20 Land o Lakes and the .25 Rice Snacks. I love Love LOVE this sale every time it comes around. Much better than Schnucks 10 for 10.
ReplyDeleteRhonda
Hi CJ - I bought HH yesterday. I'm thinking I'll use the pasta out of the box. I never see macaroni noodles on a good sale. Now I have some for free.
ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda - I love shopping at Deirbergs. I too found Manager Specials on ground chuck -$1.99 lb. and cut up whole chicken -.69 lb.
