Other Grocery Stores in St Louis

Here is what I see as the best "cherry picking" items at the other grocery stores in town. I don't include all the match-ups, but only items you might want to pick up, if one of these stores is convenient to your location.

If you see items I missed, or if you know of great deals at stores I haven't listed, please leave the information in the comments section.

  1. I stopped at ALPS last night, grabbed an ad and left it out in my vehicle. Few cuts of beef at two bucks a pound and also $.99 lb. for pork roast. Either the store was real busy or they limit what is put out, since nothing fresh was in the meat section.

I did find the arm roast and each piece was a good part of a cow front shoulder. Each piece was still cyro-packed and weight around fifteen pound. Might be a good buy for someone with good butchering skills.

  2. Thanks, kas! I better leave the arm roast for someone else. I've never gotten my knives sharpened.
