Schnucks Deals: 2/22/10 - 2/28/10

This has to be one of the shortest grocery lists I've ever typed up. This week's Schnucks ad is a great example of - just because it's advertised doesn't mean it's on a good sale.

Remember:
1. Schnucks doubles coupons .40 and less in the St. Louis area.
2. Limit of 15 coupons doubled.
3. Ask for a rain check if they are out of a sale item.
4. On a B1G1 sales you have to buy two to get the deal.
5. Items on a 10/$10 sale ring up $1 each. You don't have to buy 10.

I only highlight the best deals. Take a look at Schnucks full ad here.

  1. Jeri,

When I saw the ad Sunday night, I SO thought the same thing. Did you see the natural chicken breast (not even organic) at $4.49 lb. I just about had a cow. Dierberg's isn't even that expensive this week. Also, IMO Shop N Save rather sucks also. But, Dierberg's has their Dollar Sale and True Delight Rice Snacks will be .25 after coupon.

  2. Given P-D Sunday front page, one might get the impression there a chicken coop in every other back yard. However, I don't think your neighbors want to see a headless hen running around your property on it way to Sunday dinner.

  3. Surely Schnucks can do better than that.

  4. I somehow managed to get $26.90 (minus $14.75 in coupons) of stuff at Schnucks today. Not the best prices but I had $7 in catalinas and some almost expired coups I wanted to use up so I splurged a little.

  5. If seems like Schnucks has had really good deals - Ziplock, Grand! or nothing at all on sale.
