Since I have been feeling so tough, my husband was nice and went Aldi for me. I told him what we needed and to pick up any fresh produce that was at a great price. He came home with the needed list only. Now, I'm typing up the list and see strawberries for $1.49. You can tell he's not a strawberry lover. I might have to find the strength to get Aldi this week .

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been a while:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons
So glad to see strawberries on sale. And I can't believe I'm even saying this, but I'm getting kind of tired of pineapples, lol! Will probably have to pass on those this week. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy family just told me enough with the pineapples already. I guess we will switch to strawberries this week.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly & Lynda - I wasn't upset at all my husband didn't bring home a pineapple. We all must be ready for the season to change.
ReplyDeleteJust saw your tweet! What a great deal! My son is in LOVE with strawberries!
