Entertainment Books for $15 at CVS

Through 3/31/10 CVS has Entertainment Books of sale for $15.00

The best coupons in the St Louis edition are the (6) Shop 'n Save $5 off $50 purchase. If you have grown your ECB's, it's a perfect time to spend trade them for Shop 'n Save coupons.

Remember: You can use a $5 off $5o Shop 'n Save Entertainment Book coupon on a $10 off $50 Thursday. Spend right at $50, use the Entertainment Book coupon and you save 30% before you hand the cashier any manufacturer coupons.

Thanks, Maureen!

  1. Entertainment.com is offering these for $17.50 with free shipping AND you can get 25% back through e-bates making them $13.13. I only wish there was one avaiable for my neck of the woods.

  2. At Shop 'n Save, you can use one $5 off coupon to buy a $50 gift card for $45 when you walk in the door. Then, use one when you check out. That takes your total to closer to $30 for $50 worth of groceries on a $10 off $50 Thursday - before manufacturer coupons.

  3. I buy the gift card right when I walk in Shop n Save & use it all time when I shop because some days I am no where near $50. Love those coupons!! :)

  4. Hi Anonymous - Thanks for the info. My goal is to never pay for the Entertainment Books. I like to grow my RR or ECB's and then use them to buy the books. I've gotten 4 books this year for free using RR or ECB's.

  5. Thanks Anonymous and Rachel - Paying for you order with a giftcard you saved 10% on is the best way to save additional money at SNS. Thanks for the reminder.

  6. Thanks for the great tip - I always use the $5 off at checkout but never thought about using it on a gift card to purchase too! I may have to go back to CVS for more books.

  7. I am new to this and i don't understand the 10% off the gift card purchase. Could someone explain how this works? Do you get the $10 of $50 for the purchase of a gift card on Thurs? Thanks!

  9. I purchased 2 E. books but used all of the SNS coupons. Didn't really wan't to spend the money on more books but really wanted more SNS coupons. Thats when I search Ebay. I purchase 12 $5/50 for $10. Didn't think that was a bad deal. Those are really the only coupons I use out of the book.

  10. Jeri I also got my entertainment books at Walgreens and didn't pay anything for them. I wait and get them when I have made money with my RR's. I also ended up with 4 this year.

  11. Hi Still Learning - Use one of your SNS Entertainment Book coupon to buy a giftcard. You will spend $45 to buy a $50 card. Then use the card to pay for your pruchases at SNS. You don't get the Thursday $10 off $50, but it works out to be 10% off anything you buy.

Shop on a $10 off $50 Thursday. Buy right at $50 and use a E. book coupon. Your bill will be $35 now before you use other coupons. Then pay for your purchase with the giftcard you bought with a E. Book coupon. Your final cost will be another 10% off the final amount.

I hope this makes sense. Keep asking questions if it doesn't.

  12. Hi Jenny B - I haven't even looked at the rest of the E. Book. There is a Auntie Anne coupon? I had better thumb through it. Who knows what else I'm missing?

  13. Hi Tiffany - I'm with you not wanting to pay for the E. books. I had never though of ebay. I'm like Lynda and have 4 so far using my RR and ECB's. But, I'll keep ebay in mind if I need more.

  14. I try buy SNS gift cards using the $5 coupons during the months when Discover card is offering 5% cashback at grocery stores. For each $50 gift card I buy for $45, I get $2.50 cashback added to my account.

  15. Jeri - There's also free McD's coffee Qs, free Hardee's fries and I believe there is also a free Q for a sweet treat from Dominoe's. You definitely need to skim the rest of the book! =)

I never thought about checking eBay either. Off to look now!

  16. I got my Entertainment book today from a CVS on the "Metro East" side of St Louis - in the Belleville area~ It rang up for $25, rather than the $15. I mentioned to the cashier that I was under the impression that it would cost $15, she didn't seem to know what I was talking about -- any suggestions?

  17. Hi Rachel - The store I was at in the City had the books advertised on sale through 3/31 on a sign in the store. I don't know, but I'm wondering if the St Louis stores might have different pricing than the Illinois stores for unadvertised deals.

You could always drive to South County or South City.

  18. I was at the SOCO store looking for the book and they looked at me like I was crazy when i mentioned the entertainment book. They said they didn't sell it. Was anyone else able to find it at either the city or south county store?

  19. Hi Sadina - I purchased my book at the City store. They were on display at the register by photo. They had just one on display and the cashier had to get mine from behind the counter.

  20. I went to CVS Gravois cor Hampton last night to get the book. They were out of it and there was no sign anymore about it being $15. I told them that a "friend" of mine said that she saw a sign that it was on sale for $15 up to yesterday, March 31st. Cashier called manager who told me that it was only on sale last week so she could not give me a raincheck for it anymore. I did not insist because the people there are sooo nice and I don't want to give them the impression that I am a "difficult to deal with" customer. I hope they get on sale again before my ECB expires on April 12 plus hubby can't always give me a ride going there so I badly need to exchange/use my ECB on something. :I

  21. Hi Coupon.girl - Oh, I hope I didn't misread the sign. The sign said they were some percentage off (I don't remember how much) and in little pirnt at the bottom they had the date. Maybe, the $15 was an even better price than the percentage listed. I'm really sorry if this caused you problems.

I agree, the people at the City store are wonderful. And I love ECB's not expiring for a month. The expiration date doesn't seem to sneak up on you like Cats or RRs.

  22. It's okay. No worries. I bribed my hubby with the Fusion shaving gel because unfortunately the Barbasol shaving cream I got at Wags months ago turned into pure liquid. Good thing I only got one on stock. :I

  23. Another great way to get these Entertainment books is through ShopatHome. I bought 3 for $17.50 each, Shopathome gave me $7 cash back for each one and then I sold the books after taking the S&S coupons out for $5 each at my husband's work! So, $5.50 for $30 worth of S&S coupons. I did the 3 in seperate transactions (not sure if that matters).

  24. Just got an email that the Entertainment books are on sale for $15 with free shipping until 4/30. That makes them $8 each if you go through shopathome!
