If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been a while:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons

  1. Milk is up to $2.99 at CVS so I'm glad I waited. Will go to Aldi today for milk and strawberries. Thanks for the price check, Jeri!

  2. Hi CJ - I noticed Aldi had 1/2 gallon of milk. I don't know if I've never noticed them before on they are a new item for Aldi. I didn't check the price.

  3. Jeri - They've had 1/2 gallons for a while. They are usually around $1.50 but they only have 2%.

  4. Hi there! Can you tell me where you get your price checks for Aldi's? I live in Central Illinois and last time the prices didn't match up. Is there a website I can go to?

  5. Hi Mrs. Fisher - The Aldi's in St Louis change their produce prices on Sunday. I shop at Alid on Sunday and report what I find. The produce prices are not in their online ad or the ad you pick up by the door.

I think some people in the St Louis area get a mid-week Aldi ad in their newpaper with these "produce pick" prices. Can anyone help out? If you get an Aldi ad with produce prices can you let us know when & where you get it.

Mrs. Fisher, I would ask the employees at the Aldi in your town when they change produce prices and if they have a few items at botton dollar price each week. Sorry I can't help more.

  6. Jeri, I got an Aldi ad yesterday with the Tuesday "junk mail" ads. It had a list of produce picks at the bottom but only had 5 or 6 things listed. I will try to post the prices tonight when I get home.
